Measurement Fund definition

Measurement Fund means one or more of the investment funds selected by the Committee pursuant to Section 4.1.
Measurement Fund means one or more investment funds which may, but need not, include the investment funds provided under the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (including Company stock) available as a measuring standard for crediting earnings and losses to a Participant’s Account Balance. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Plan that may be interpreted to the contrary, the Measurement Funds are to be used for measurement purposes only, and a Participant’s election of any Measurement Fund, the allocation to his or her Account Balance thereto, the calculation of additional amounts and the crediting or debiting of such amounts to a Participant’s Account Balance shall not be considered or construed in any manner as an actual investment of his or her Account Balance in any Measurement Fund.

Examples of Measurement Fund in a sentence

  • As necessary, the Committee may, in its sole discretion, discontinue, substitute or add a Measurement Fund.

  • The performance of each elected Measurement Fund (either positive or negative) will be determined by the Administrator, in its sole discretion, based on the performance of the Measurement Funds themselves.

  • If a Participant fails to elect a Measurement Fund under this Section, he shall be deemed to have elected the default Measurement Fund (as designated by the Committee) for all of his Accounts.

  • As necessary, the Administrator may, in its sole discretion, discontinue, substitute or add a Measurement Fund.

  • The performance of each Measurement Fund (either positive or negative) will be determined on a daily basis based on the manner in which such Participant’s Account Balance has been hypothetically allocated among the Measurement Funds by the Participant.


More Definitions of Measurement Fund

Measurement Fund means one or more of the investment funds selected by the Committee or its designee.
Measurement Fund means a phantom investment fund designated by the Administrator to serve as a measurement device for purposes of valuing the portion, if any, of a Participant's Account allocated to such phantom investment fund.
Measurement Fund means a common trust fund, mutual fund or other collective investment vehicle selected by the Benefits Committee to serve as a benchmark for determining the rate of return on a Participant’s Account, an FBU Participant’s FBU Account and FBU Transferred Account, if any, or a CSR Participant’s CSR Account, to the extent such account is deemed to be invested in such Measurement Fund in accordance with Section 4.9.
Measurement Fund means those certain mutual funds selected by the Committee for the purpose of determining the value of a Participant’s Account Balance.
Measurement Fund means those investment funds made available by the Administrator in which a Participant’s Accounts will be treated as having been invested for purposes of this Plan.
Measurement Fund means a publicly traded or offered mutual fund or funds from the following list of funds managed by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., or one of its affiliates, which a Participant may select under Section 4.3 to determine the subsequent imputed interest on his or her deferrals:
