NYS Holidays definition

NYS Holidays refers to the legal holidays for State employees in the classified service of the executive branch, as more particularly specified on the website of the NYS Department of Civil Service. This includes the following: New Year’s Day; ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Day; Washington’s Birthday (observed); Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Columbus Day; Veteran’s Day; Thanksgiving Day; and Christmas Day.

Examples of NYS Holidays in a sentence

  • If a Vehicle accepted by an Authorized User is found to have been delivered with minor deviations or improper servicing, the Contractor must arrange to have the necessary work done within 48 hours (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Federal or NYS Holidays) after receipt of written notification from the Authorized User and/or NYSPro.

  • If an Item is delivered with minor deviations or improper servicing, the Contractor must arrange to have the necessary work done within 48 hours (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Federal or NYS Holidays) after receipt of written notification from the Authorized User and/or the Office of General Services.

  • If a vehicle is delivered with minor deviations or improper servicing, the Contractor must arrange to have the necessary work done within 48 hours (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Federal or NYS Holidays) after receipt of written notification from the Authorized User and/or the Office of General Services.

  • Business Day – shall refer to Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, excluding NYS Holidays and federal holidays.

  • The cost to implement the Plan of Correction, Quality Improvement Plan, Corrective Action Plan, or Contract Compliance Plan shall be borne by the Contractor.

  • If the time period for a Contractor deliverable in this Section 2 does not reference Business Days, then the time period for the Contractor Deliverable includes both hours and days (e.g. Saturday, Sunday, and NYS Holidays and federal holidays) not included within Business Days.

  • If Business Days are not specified for a Contractor deliverable in this Section 2, the time period for the Contractor deliverable is not limited to Business Days, and includes both hours and days (e.g. Saturday, Sunday, and NYS Holidays and federal holidays) not included within Business Days.
