Out of Contract Rate definition

Out of Contract Rate means the higher of a rate not more than four (4) times the Contract Price or twice the prevailing charge for Gas at the relevant date. ‘Pass Through Charges’ means a charge to vary the Standing Charge by reason of Gas usage either exceeding or being less than the Nominated Consumption. ‘Registered Userin respect of Site means the person who is registered by Transporter as being responsible to Transporter for Gas taken at the Offtake Points at the Site. ‘Renewal Agreement’ means a new agreement for the supply of Gas following expiry of the initial Supply Period, the details of which are as those details as provided to the Customer for the supply of Gas following the expiry of the initial Supply Period. ‘Site’ means any location containing one or more Offtake Points at which the Customer requires Gas and which is identified by Transporter for that location.
Out of Contract Rate means the rate (published on our website) which we charge customers for supply when they have not transferred supplier even though their agreement with us has ended;
