Participating Employees definition

Participating Employees means an employee or category of employees for whom a Participating Employer agrees to provide coverage under the Plan and any category of employees as approved by the Contractholder.
Participating Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.4(g).

More Definitions of Participating Employees

Participating Employees means those current or future employees of the Corporation or its Affiliates who (a) do not participate in an Affiliate Employee Equity Participation and Profit Sharing Plan and are not members of Corporate Management, Group Management or Unit Management and (b) either are (i) current or future employees eligible to participate in the Employee Pension Plan who have expressly elected to participate in such plan or (ii) future employees of the Corporation or its Affiliates who automatically are participants in the Employee Pension Plan by virtue of their employment arrangements with the Corporation or its Affiliates;

Participating Employees. Sheriff’s Office employees regularly assigned to Sheriff’s investigators regardless of title. Schedule: The Sheriff shall institute a work schedule consisting of four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour workdays and shall assign individuals to particular work days and days off. However, the Sheriff retains the right to reassign individuals to days worked and to modify the regular start and ending time for the ten (10) hour day. Except in the case of emergencies, changes in regular days worked and regular start and ending times will not be made without advance notice of seven calendar days to the affected employees. It is understood and agreed to by the parties that the Sheriff’s Office may have to temporarily utilize a split shift in order to ensure adequate coverage in the event of unanticipated absences of staff or a reduction in staff due to resignation.
