Hour Day. The agreements on administration of the 10-hour work schedule are:
(1) Acting Pay. Assignments of less than 1 full scheduled work week, each day acting to be paid at the prescribed rate.
Hour Day. The parties agree that the Chief may implement a 10-hour schedule that would modify the regular work day from an 8-hour day to a 10-hour day. If implemented, the parties will enter into a Letter of Understanding to address necessary contract modifications to account for a 10-hour day.
Hour Day. Employees may voluntarily agree to work an eight (8) hour day. No employee shall be disciplined or discriminated against because he/she wishes to work only a seven (7) hour day.
Hour Day. The workday may consist of twelve (12) hours' work to be completed within twelve and one-half (12 112) consecutive hours.
Hour Day. All daily course assignments for a Faculty Member must occur within ten (10) consecutive hours, unless otherwise approved by the affected Faculty Member. However, every effort shall be made to schedule all daily course assignments within an eight (8) hour period of time whenever it is practicable to do so.
Hour Day. Below is an example of how payment would be calculated for a 5&3 on a 9.25 hour day, based on an hourly rate of pay of $36.13050.
Hour Day. If a Cement Xxxxx starts work, he/she shall be guaranteed a minimum of eight (8) hours pay. This guarantee is eliminated in the event that work is discontinued due to breakdown of equipment, weather conditions, Acts of God, fire, accidents and other reasons beyond the control of the Employer, provided, however, that when a Cement Xxxxx starts working in foul weather for a contractor, the 8 hours’ pay guarantee shall be in force and effect. It is mutually agreed that a Cement Xxxxx may be moved from job to job by the same Employer during the work day at no cost to the Cement Xxxxx.
Hour Day. In regards to Article and the company, at its option, may adjust the working day to eight (8) hours from seven and one-half (7 for a period of time not less than one month. This option will be exercised by the Company only as and when service requirements demand such. The Company will provide no less than two (2) weeks advance notice of the start date for an eight (8) hour day and will also provide such minimum notice for reversal to a seven and one-half (7 hour day. The Company shall continue to replace tools broken or worn out in the service of the Company. Employees are responsible for loss of tools on the approved employee’s tool list, except those tools lost from the locked box or storage facility due to fire, theft, flood, etc.

Hour Day. Pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of Labor Code sections 181 0, 181 1 and 181 5, the time of service of any laborer, xxxxxxx, or mechanic employed upon any of the work under this Agreement is limited and restricted to eight (8) hours during any one calendar day, and forty (40) hours during any one calendar week, except that work performed by employees of Contractors in excess of eight (8) hours per day, and forty (40) hours during any one week, shall be permitted upon compensation for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day at not less than one and one-half (1-1/2) times the basic rate of pay.
