FINANCIAL‌ 58) ENROLLMENT, CONTRACTING, SERVICE TRACKING, ATTENDANCE REPORTING, AND BILLING PROCEDURES‌ a) CONTRACTOR shall ensure that the nonpublic school or nonpublic agency has the necessary financial resources to provide an appropriate education for the students enrolled and will distribute those resources in such a manner to implement the IEP/IFSP for each and every student. b) CONTRACTOR shall be paid for the provision of special education and/or related services specified in the LEA student’s IEP/IFSP and ISA. All payments by XXX shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Master Contract. c) CONTRACTOR shall maintain registers for the basic education program and each related service. Original attendance forms shall be completed by the actual service provider whose signature shall appear on such forms and shall be available for review, inspection, or audit by LEA during the effective period of this contract and for a period of five (5) years after the date of origination. CONTRACTOR shall verify the accuracy of minutes of reported attendance that is the basis of services being billed for payment. d) CONTRACTOR shall submit accurate and timely invoices and related documents to LEA for payment, for each calendar month when education or related services were provided to an LEA student. Invoices shall be submitted no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the attendance accounting period in which the services were rendered. XXX shall make payment to CONTRACTOR based on the number of billable days of attendance and hours of service at rates specified in this contract within forty-five (45) days of XXX’s receipt of properly submitted hard copy of invoices prepared and submitted as specified in California Education Code Section 56366.5. A written statement acknowledging the legal requirements of such reporting and verification of staff adherence to such reporting shall be properly submitted to the VCOE.

  • Abuse and Neglect of Children and Vulnerable Adults: Abuse Registry Party agrees not to employ any individual, to use any volunteer or other service provider, or to otherwise provide reimbursement to any individual who in the performance of services connected with this agreement provides care, custody, treatment, transportation, or supervision to children or to vulnerable adults if there has been a substantiation of abuse or neglect or exploitation involving that individual. Party is responsible for confirming as to each individual having such contact with children or vulnerable adults the non-existence of a substantiated allegation of abuse, neglect or exploitation by verifying that fact though (a) as to vulnerable adults, the Adult Abuse Registry maintained by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and (b) as to children, the Central Child Protection Registry (unless the Party holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families). See 33 V.S.A. §4919(a)(3) and 33 V.S.A. §6911(c)(3).

  • Child Abuse Reporting Requirements A. Grantees shall comply with child abuse and neglect reporting requirements in Texas Family Code Chapter 261. This section is in addition to and does not supersede any other legal obligation of the Grantee to report child abuse. B. Grantee shall use the Texas Abuse Hotline Website located at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/Login/Default.aspx as required by the System Agency. Grantee shall retain reporting documentation on site and make it available for inspection by the System Agency.
