Research Market means use by consumers in laboratories of academic, government, industrial, clinical, or other institutions who determine for themselves that they are entitled to purchase and/or use Licensed Products labeled "For Research Use Only - Not for any clinical or therapeutic use in Humans or Animals" or a reasonable equivalent thereto. The Research Market expressly excludes, everywhere in the world, use of Licensed Products for the diagnosis of, or predisposition to, or therapy of a disease state in humans or animals.
Research Market means non-commercial research conducted at non-profit research institutions and universities.

More Definitions of Research Market

Research Market means the market of universities, academic institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies carrying out basic research, applied research, or developing, manufacturing or selling commercial research products or services, but excluding, in any event, the Field of Use. The Research Market shall expressly include (i) the manufacture and sale of all commercial research products and commercial research services (commercial research services, for purposes of clarity, exclude biomarker assay development services), (ii) applications governing the manufacture or quality control of commercial research products and services, and (iii) the quantification of the use of gene editing technologies, including CRISPR-CAS 9, TALON, and Zinc-Finger Nuclease technologies in pharmaceutical research and development.
Research Market means those entities utilizing the Endogen Products for nonclinical, noncommercial research purposes only.
Research Market meaning those individuals in laboratories of academic, government, industrial, clinical or other institutions engaged in the investigation of biological and/or biochemical processes, and/or research and development of biological and/or biochemical products, who determine for themselves that they are entitled to purchase and use Licensed Products or kits labeled “For Research Use Only - Not for any clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic use in Humans or Animals” or a reasonable equivalent.
Research Market means customers utilizing Licensed Products for non-commercial, research purposes only. For the avoidance of doubt, such customers shall not resell the Licensed Products, neither commercialize results obtained with the Licensed Products, nor shall reimbursement under a health care plan be applicable on the Licensed Products so sold.

For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Research Results means any technical result acquired based on the Collaborative Research, including, but not limited to, any invention, idea, design, copyrightable work and know-how which relates to the purpose of the Collaborative Research.
