Service of Documents. We may serve you with a writ of summons, statement of claim or any other legal process or document requiring personal service by delivering it personally, sending it by ordinary post or by leaving it at your last known address (whether a post office address or private residence or business residence or otherwise). You will be considered to have been properly served on the date of delivery if we deliver process personally to you, or served on the next date after the date of posting if process is posted to you. In addition to these two (2) methods of service, we may serve you in any other method permitted by law.
Service of Documents. Delivery of notice and other documents on a Party shall be made to the place named for that Party in Annex C. SECTION C

Service of Documents.
a. Service of the Inspection Report or a Statement of Loss may be effected on the Insured by:
i. personal service;
ii. ordinary mail or registered mail, in which case service is deemed to have been effected;
1) seven days from the date of mailing if the document is mailed in Alberta to an address in Alberta, or 2) 14 days from the date of mailing if the document is mailed to an address located outside of Alberta; or
iii. by facsimile, email or other electronic means in accordance with AFSC’s most recent records for the Insured.
b. Where there is more than one Insured in respect of the crop loss for which an inspection has been made, service of the Inspection Report or Statement of Loss on one of the Insured is deemed to be service on all the Insureds.
Service of Documents. Each of the parties hereto irrevocably agrees that any writ, summons, order, judgment or other notice of legal process shall be sufficiently and effectively served on it if delivered in accordance with Clause 15.
Service of Documents. 1. Notices and other documents relating to arbitration under this Section shall be served on a Contracting Party by delivery to:
(a) with respect to Japan, Economic Affairs Bureau, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and
(b) with respect to the State of Israel, International Affairs Department, the Ministry of Finance or its successors.
2. A Contracting Party shall promptly make publicly available and notify to the other Contracting Party any change to the name of the authority referred to in paragraph 1.
3. Each Contracting Party shall make publicly available the address of its authority referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2.
Service of Documents. If anything is required or permitted to be served under this Agreement, it shall be deemed to be properly served if it is served:
(I) In the case of an individual
(i) personally or by leaving it for him at his last or most usual place of abode with some person who is apparently at least eighteen (18) years old; or
(ii) by mailing it to him by registered or certified mail at his last known post office address; or
(iii) personally by a receipted courier service.
(II) In the case of the Employer
(i) personally on the appropriate officer; or
(ii) by leaving it at or by sending it by registered or certified mail to the Human Resources Department; or
(iii) personally on the appropriate officer by a receipted courier service; or
(iv) by a confidential facsimile with a follow-up call to confirm receipt.
(III) In the case of the Union
(i) personally on the President, Secretary or an Officer of the Union or by leaving it at an office occupied by the Union; or
(ii) by sending it by registered or certified mail to the address of the President, Secretary or an Officer of the Union; or
(iii) personally on the President, Secretary or an Officer of the Union by a receipted courier service; or
(iv) by a confidential facsimile with a follow-up call to confirm receipt.
(IV) The date of delivery establishes the date of receipt for documents that are served personally.
(V) Documents that are mailed by registered or certified mail shall be deemed to have been received on the date they are registered or certified with Canada Post.

a. Service of the Statement of Loss may be effected on the Insured by:
i. personal service;
ii. ordinary mail or registered mail, in which case service is deemed to have been effected;
1) seven days from the date of mailing if the document is mailed in Alberta to an address in Alberta, or 2) 14 days from the date of mailing if the document is mailed to an address located outside of Alberta; or
iii. by facsimile, email or other electronic means in accordance with AFSC’s most recent records for the Insured.
b. Where there is more than one Insured in respect of the crop loss, service of the Statement of Loss on one of the Insured is deemed to be service on all the Insureds.
Service of Documents. Delivery of notice and other documents on a party shall be done in the place designated by it in Annex 12.15.
Service of Documents. 1. At the request of the applicant Member State the requested Member State shall serve upon the addressee, documents and public documents including those relating to judicial decisions, which emanate from the applicant Member State and which relate to a tax covered by this Agreement.
2. The requested Member State shall effect service of documents, including public documents:
(a) by a method prescribed by its domestic laws for the service of documents of a substantially similar nature;
(b) to the extent possible, by a particular method requested by the applicant Member State or the closest to such method available under its own laws.
3. A Member State may effect service of documents directly through the post on a person in another Member State.
4. Nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as invalidating any service of documents by a Member State in accordance with its laws.
5. When a document is served in accordance with this Article and it is not in English language, the same should be accompanied by a translation into English.
