Skilled Services definition

Skilled Services means those services provided directly by a licensed professional for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring the health of an individual or to minimize the effects of injury, illness or disability. Skilled services must be ordered by a physician.

Skilled Services means medically necessary services that require the skills of a qualified technical or professional health personnel such as registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.
