Swiss Addendum definition

Swiss Addendum means the EU SCCs as amended by Attachment E.
Swiss Addendum means the Swiss Standard Contractual Clauses Addendum as set out in Exhibit E of this Addendum.
Swiss Addendum means the adaptations and supplements to the SCCs (2021) mandated by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland.

  • If Restricted Transfers of Personal Data subject to the Swiss DPA are made by or on behalf of Company to Supplier or any Subprocessor, the Parties agree that all such Transfers shall be governed by the SCCs as supplemented and amended by the Swiss Addendum to SCCs (attached as Schedule 5), which are hereby executed and entered into by and between by and between Company and Supplier.

  • This Swiss Addendum shall apply to any transfer of Customer Personal Data from Switzerland to Other Countries.

  • Section 12.10.2 Secondary teachers in their first and second year of teaching shall not be assigned more than two (2) courses for preparation.

  • To the extent that We are the Controller, the terms and conditions of Module 2 of the SCCs (Controller to Processor), as supplemented and amended by the Swiss Addendum, govern the Restricted Transfer.

  • In the event of a conflict between the terms of this DPA and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK SCC Addendum and/or Swiss Addendum (if applicable), the terms of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK SCC Addendum and/or Swiss Addendum (if applicable) shall control.


More Definitions of Swiss Addendum

Swiss Addendum means the addendum set out in Annex 7
Swiss Addendum means the Swiss Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses in Annex 4 (Swiss Addendum);
Swiss Addendum means the applicable standard data protection clauses issued, approved or recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, specifically the FADP. Upon the publication in the Federal Gazette and the entry into force of the revised FADP, this term will refer to the latter act (in force, August 27th, 2021);
Swiss Addendum means the Addendum set out at Appendix 5 that amends the SCCs for the purposes of any transfers of personal data subject to the FADP and any other relevant Swiss data protection laws or guidance that may be issued by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner from time to time.
Swiss Addendum means the addendum set out at Appendix 3 of this DPA.
Swiss Addendum means the supplementary document to this DPA, applicable when the FDPA applies to the Licensee’s use of the Services to process Swiss Licensee Data. The Swiss Addendum associated with this DPA may be found at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/switzerland-dpa-addendum/ The parties acknowledge and agree Licensee is the Controller and Respondus is a Processor, appointed to process the Licensee Data on the Licensee’s behalf. Each party shall comply with the obligations that apply to it under Applicable Data Protection Law. As described above, Licensee is the Controller and Respondus is the Processor. Licensee (including its authorized staff and agents) use the Services to monitor certain activities of its Students, and in doing so it gathers the Licensee Data regarding its Students. The parties acknowledge that Licensee Data contains Personal Data under the Applicable Data Protection Law. Respondus stores and processes some of the Licensee Data on its servers to provide the Services to Licensee as Licensee’s Processor. The Licensee maintains and controls all access to the Licensee Data in its account, and Respondus has access only by virtue of maintaining the servers and providing the software for the Services. The nature of the processing and the type of data processed is described in the Documentation and the duration of the processing is the term specified in the Documentation. Respondus agrees that it will not access any Licensee Data except (i) as necessary for the operation of the Services, as described in the Documentation and (ii) as expressly permitted by the Licensee (together, the “Permitted Purpose”), except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Swiss Addendum means the addendum set out in Schedule 3 and which forms part of this DPA in accordance with section 8.
