Transit Services definition

Transit Services means the transportation of persons and their packages and baggage by means of transit facilities between points within the Zone including the transportation of newspapers, express and mail between such points, and charter service which originates within the Zone but does not include taxicab service or individual-ticket-sales sightseeing operations;

Transit Services means either Firm Transit Services or Interruptible Transit Services.

Transit Services includes without limitation any activity related to the provision of the Public Passenger Transportation System, whether conducted directly or indirectly by the Operating Company or its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors or representatives, to operate, maintain, repair or store vehicles, equipment or infrastructure and conduct any related environmental and waste management measures and includes Conventional, Custom and Paratransit Transit Services;

Examples of Transit Services in a sentence

• Applicants may select Private Transportation or provide the location information and distance for one (1) of the remaining four (4) Transit Services on which to base the Application’s Transit Score.

• Applicants that wish to receive proximity points for Transit Services other than Private Transportation must provide latitude and longitude coordinates for that service, stated in decimal degrees, rounded to at least the sixth decimal place, and the distance between the Development Location Point and the coordinates for the service.

• Parking permits along with regulations governing traffic and parking are available from University Transit Services (928-523-6623) located at 113 W Dupont Ave., Flagstaff, AZ 86011.
