Work Group 1 definition

Work Group 1. All extra-help employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act shall be allocated to Work Group 1. Extra-help employees in Work Group 1 shall be compensated for overtime worked by monetary payment only. All monetary payments for overtime must be paid not later than the next biweekly payroll following the pay period in which the overtime was worked.
Work Group 1. All unit members covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act shall be allocated to Work Group 1. Unit members in Work Group 1 may be compensated for overtime worked either by monetary payment or by compensatory time off, at the option of the unit member. Comp time off which accrues in excess of eighty hours must be liquidated by monetary payment. All monetary payments for overtime must be paid not later than the next biweekly payroll following the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Work group means a crew or number of crews which work from a common point of assembly and perform work of a similar nature in a defined seniority block. Where more than one (1) work group works from a common point of assembly the work groups will be defined by the Employer.

A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.
