Yearly Physicals definition

Yearly Physicals. A custodian will be allowed a maximum of one (1) sick leave day (8 hours) per year to be used for an annual physical examination providing satisfactory proof is provided thereof. The time for which a custodian will be absent will be rounded to the next full hour. (i.e. 1.25 hours is equivalent to 2 hours.)

When the hours earned over 800 hours total 112 for a total of 912 hours, the confidential employee will be paid for one day of their regular pay with the total number of sick leave hours dropping back to 800. The hours used during the period of excess accumulation for sick leave will be subtracted from the total number of sick leave hours accumulated.
