Reference Rate. Reuters Screen shall prevail.
Reference Rate means, in respect of a Rate Fixing Date, the cross currency EUR/INR exchange rate expressed as the amount of INR per one EUR, calculated by multiplying the USD/INR Rate with the EUR/USD Rate, rounded to the nearest five decimal places (with 0.000005 being rounded down). In the event of a Disruption Event (as defined below under “Fallback Provisions”) on any Rate Fixing Date, the Reference Rate shall be determined by the Calculation Agent by applying the Disruption Fallbacks in the order listed below under “Fallback Provisions”, until the Reference Rate can be determined.
Reference Rate a rate equal to the rate for deposits in USD for a period of three months which appears on the Reuters Screen LIBOR01 Page as of 11:00 a.m., London time, on the day that is two London business days preceding the first day of the relevant interest period. • Interest Payment Dates: the 20th day of January in each calendar year from, and including, January 20, 2018 to, and including, January 20, 2026, and the Maturity Date (as defined below). • Maximum Rate of Interest: 4.00 per cent. Non-scheduled Early Repayment Amount Unscheduled early redemption: The Securities may be redeemed prior to the scheduled maturity (i) at the Issuer's option if the Issuer determines a change in applicable law has the effect that performance by the Issuer or its affiliates under the Securities or hedging transactions relating to the Securities has become (or there is a substantial likelihood in the immediate future that it will become) unlawful or impracticable (in whole or in part), or (ii) upon notice by a Holder declaring such Securities to be immediately repayable due to the occurrence of an event of default which is continuing. In such case, the Non-scheduled Early Repayment Amount payable on such unscheduled early redemption shall be, for each Security, the Specified Denomination of U.S.$ 2,000. Redemption • The Maturity Date for the Securities shall be January 20, 2027, provided that if such day is not a payment business day, the final redemption amount will be paid on the next succeeding payment business day. • Unless previously redeemed or purchased and cancelled, each Security will be redeemed by the Issuer on the maturity date by payment of a Final Redemption Amount of U.S.$ 2,000 per Calculation Amount of Securities. Representative of holders of Securities: Not applicable; the Issuer has not appointed any person to be a representative of the holders of Securities.

Examples of Reference Rate in a sentence

  • If the Page is not available or if, in the case of (1) above, no offered quotation appears or, in the case of (2) above, fewer than three offered quotations appear, in each case as at the Specified Time, the Calculation Agent shall request each of the Reference Banks to provide the Calculation Agent with its offered quotation (expressed as a percentage rate per annum) for the Reference Rate at approximately the Specified Time on the Interest Determination Date in question.

  • If the Reference Rate from time to time in respect of Floating Rate Notes is specified in the applicable Final Terms as being other than LIBOR or EURIBOR, the Rate of Interest in respect of such Notes will be determined as provided in the applicable Final Terms.

  • Reductions of the value of the Reference Rate “3 months EURIBOR” have a positive influence on the value of the Notes whereas increases of the value of the Reference Rate “3 months EURIBOR” have a negative influence on the value of the Notes.

  • A negative floating rate may reduce any positive margin payable on your Securities: As the Interest Rate of your Securities for certain Interest Periods is the sum of 3 Month Euro floating rate for the relevant Interest Period plus a margin, and the conditions of the Securities specifies "Reference Rate 0% Floor" to be not applicable, a negative 3 Month Euro floating rate will reduce the margin, potentially to zero.
