ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 5.1 Subject to clause 5.2 an employee or student of the University (whether or not involved in the Project) may, provided a Confidentiality Notice under clause 5.2 has not been given: 5.1.1 Discuss work undertaken as part of the Project in University seminars, tutorials and lectures; and 5.1.2 Publish the Results, including any Background Information, Materials & IP of the Sponsor (unless it is the Sponsor’s Confidential Information) in support of the Results. 5.2 The Sponsor and the University anticipate that a high impact academic Publication will arise following the successful conduct of the Project, and nothing in this Agreement shall prevent or hinder the University from seeking to publish such a Publication, provided that the procedure in this clause 5.2 is followed. The University will submit to the Sponsor, in writing, a copy of the proposed Publication at least [***] days before the date of the proposed submission for Publication. The Sponsor may, by giving written notice to the University (“a Confidentiality Notice”): (a) require the University to delay the proposed Publication for a maximum of [***] months after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice if, in the Sponsor’s reasonable opinion, that delay is necessary in order to seek patent or similar protect on for any of the Sponsor’s Background Information, Materials & IP or any Results that are to be Published; or (b) prevent the Publication of any of the Sponsor’s Background Information, Materials & IP that is Confidential Information. For the avoidance of doubt the University shall not publish the full stereochemical and chemical structure of any of the Sponsor’s Background Information, Materials & IP without the prior written consent of the Sponsor, provided that the Sponsor will consent to the University disclosing in a Publication sufficient information about the nature of the Sponsor’s Background Information, Materials & IP and the potential use of the same in the treatment of Muscular Dystrophy as would ordinarily be required of a high quality academic Publication. The Sponsor must give that Confidentiality Notice within [***] days after the Sponsor receives a copy of the proposed Publication. ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 5.1 Any employee or student of the Transferee (whether or not involved in the Project) may, provided the Transferee has not received a Confidentiality Notice under clause 5.2: 5.1.1 discuss work undertaken as part of the Project in Transferee seminars, tutorials and lectures; and 5.1.2 Publish any of the Results and any of the Improvements. 5.2 The Transferee will submit to the Transferor, in writing, details of any Results or Improvements that any employee or student of the Transferee intends to Publish, at least [X] days before the date of the proposed Publication. The Transferor may, by giving written notice to the Transferee (a Confidentiality Notice) require the Transferee to delay the proposed Publication for a maximum of [X] months after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice if, in the Transferor's reasonable opinion, that delay is necessary in order to seek patent or similar protection for any of the Results or Improvements that are to be Published. The Transferor must give that Confidentiality Notice within [X] days after the Transferor receives details of the proposed Publication. If the Transferee does not receive a Confidentiality Notice within that period, its employee or student may proceed with the proposed Publication.
ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 6.1 Any employee or student of any Academic Party (whether or not involved in the Project) may, provided that Academic Party has not received a Confidentiality Notice under clause 6.2, Publish any Background (unless it is the Confidential Information of another party) or any of the Results. 6.2 Each of the Academic Parties will submit to any other party that owns the Intellectual Property in any of the Results or that has contributed any Background to the Project, in writing, details of those Results, and of that Background that any employee or student of that Academic Party intends to Publish, at least [30][60] days before the date of the proposed submission for Publication. Any other party may, by giving written notice to the party that has submitted those details ("a Confidentiality Notice"): require that party to delay the proposed Publication for a maximum of [??] month[s] after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice if, in its reasonable opinion, that delay is necessary in order to seek patent or similar protection for any of its Background or any the Results that are to be Published; or prevent the Publication of any of its Background that is Confidential Information. The Confidentiality Notice must be given within [15][30] days after receipt of details of the proposed Publication. If a Confidentiality Notice is not received within that period, the proposed Publication may proceed, provided that, whether or not a Confidentiality Notice has been given, any other party’s Background that is Confidential Information may not be published.
ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 5.1 University shall not be restricted from making any publications, including without limitation, presenting at conferences, symposia or professional meetings, or from publishing in abstracts, journals, theses, or dissertations, or otherwise, whether in printed or in electronic media, the methods and the results of the Research Project, except where such publication or presentation would result in the premature public disclosure of commercializeable intellectual property or breach the confidentiality terms of clause 6 of this Agreement. 5.2 The University shall submit to the Sponsor, an outline and associated abstract of any research results, which it intends to publish or present, for review at least thirty (30) days in advance of such proposed publication or presentation (Review Period). The Sponsor shall complete the review within the Review Period. If the Sponsor does not object in writing to such publication or presentation within the Review Period, it shall be deemed to have agreed to the disclosure and the University shall be free to proceed. 5.3 During the review period, the Sponsor may object to such proposed publication or presentation either because there is an inadvertent disclosure of the Sponsor’s confidential information contained in the proposed publication or presentation, or because there is commercializeable subject matter which requires appropriate legal protection. If the Sponsor objects because there would be an inadvertent disclosure of the Sponsor’s confidential information, the University agrees to remove such confidential information. If the Company objects because of the potential for protectable subject matter, the University agrees to delay publication for up to a maximum of six (6) months for the purposes of obtaining patent or other intellectual property protection. If a graduate student’s thesis contains subject matter that requires protection, the University retains the right to have graduate student theses reviewed and defended for the sole purpose of academic evaluation in accordance with the University’s established procedures. This Agreement shall not impose any delays on the defence of a student’s thesis.

The Company may, by giving written notice to the University (“a Confidentiality Notice”) require the University to delay the proposed Publication for a maximum of 3 months after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice if, in the Company’s reasonable opinion, that delay is necessary in order to seek patent or similar protection for any of the Company’s background or any Results that are to be Published; or prevent the Publication of any of the Company’s Background that is Confidential Information. The Company must give that Confidentiality Notice within 30 days after the Company receives details of the proposed Publication. If the University does not receive a Confidentiality Notice within that period, its employee or student may proceed with the proposed Publication, provided that, whether or not Confidentiality Notice has been given, any of the Company’s Background that is Confidential Information may not be published.
ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 6.1 Any Representative of UNB (whether or not involved in the Work) may, provided a Confidentiality Notice under section 6.2 has not been given: (a) discuss Work undertaken as part of the Strategic Membership in university seminars, tutorials and lectures; and (b) publish original works of authorship related to the Work of this Agreement or any of the Foreground Intellectual Property, as long as that authorship does not contain Partner’s Confidential Information. 6.2 UNB will submit to the Partner, in writing, details of any Academic Publication or Work undertaken as part of the Strategic Membership or Joint Foreground Intellectual Property that any Representative of UNB intends to publish or present at least sixty (60) days before the date of the proposed submission for publication or disclosure. The Partner may, acting reasonably, request alterations to the proposed publication or disclosure including the reasons therefore, with respect to the removal of any of the information that is Partner Confidential Information or that could be identified as being potentially patentable. If the Partner objects to any portion of the publication or disclosure, the Partner must provide written notice to UNB (the “Confidentiality Notice”) within thirty (30) days after the Partner receives the details of the proposed publication or disclosure. Within ten (10) days of receipt of the Confidentiality Notice, UNB shall advise the Partner in writing whether it intends to revise the proposed publication or disclosure as set out in the Confidentiality Notice. 6.3 Where, in the Partner’s reasonable opinion, a delay is necessary to seek patent or other protection for any of the Foreground Intellectual Property that are to be published or discussed, the Partner may require UNB to delay the proposed publication or disclosure for a maximum of six (6) months after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice. 6.4 If UNB does not receive a Confidentiality Notice within the specified period of time, its Representative may proceed with the proposed publication or disclosure, provided that, whether or not a Confidentiality Notice has been given, any of the Partner’s Confidential Information may not be published. 6.5 Where UNB faculty or a graduate student is employed in the performance of the Work under the Strategic Membership, the faculty or graduate student will own the copyright to the Academic Publication (including thesis, dissertation, or final reports). ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 8.1 One of the missions of CVUT is the generation of new knowledge and its dissemination for the public’s benefit. The Parties acknowledge that any output dissemination by any Subcontractors in relation to the Research Project shall be co-authored with CVUT and be subject to the provisions and procedures set forth in this Article 8. 8.2 After complying with Section 8.3, any employee or student of CVUT involved in the Research Project may, provided a Confidentiality Notice under Section 8.3 has not been given: 8.2.1 discuss work undertaken as part of the Research Project in CVUT seminars, tutorials and lectures; 8.2.2 publish in appropriate academic journals the results of the Research Project. 8.3 CVUT shall endeavor to submit to GEAC for review, a document containing the details of the disclosure as per Article 8.2.1 and/or a copy of the document to publish as per Article

ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. 5.1 The Project is undertaken in pursuance of a primary charitable purpose of the University; that is the advancement of education through teaching and research. Therefore, any employee or student of the University (whether or not involved in the Project) may, provided the University has not received a Confidentiality Notice under clause 5.2: 5.1.1 discuss work undertaken as part of the Project in University seminars, tutorials and lectures; and 5.1.2 Publish any of the Results and any of the Improvements. 5.2 The University, using the results of the project, agrees to write and publish in scientific journals of high impact index, one or more articles in which the research team of Xx. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx will be responsible for the publication, being co-authors company researchers.
ACADEMIC PUBLICATION. The Recipient shall not disclose the results of the Academic Research without giving diligent consideration to the possibility for registering intellectual property rights therein, and having regard for the rights of CPSBB under this Agreement, particularly those set out in Clause 14. Subject to the foregoing, the Recipient shall be entitled to disclose the results obtained in the Academic Research, by for example publication in a reputable scientific journal, but before submitting for publication a paper (or any other intended disclosure, whether written, oral or electronic) containing the results the Recipient shall first provide CPSBB with a copy of the paper (or, as applicable, such other intended disclosure) in order that CPSBB has a reasonable period to give consideration to the possibility for registering intellectual property rights. A paper submitted for publication shall acknowledge Professor …….., and that CPSBB supplied the Materials with or from which the results were obtained.

AstraZeneca may, by giving written notice to the Institution ("a Confidentiality Notice"): require the Institution to delay the proposed Publication for a maximum of 3 months after receipt of the Confidentiality Notice if, in AstraZeneca's reasonable opinion, that delay is necessary in order to seek patent or similar protection for any of AstraZeneca's Background or any Results that are to be Published; or prevent the Publication of any of AstraZeneca's Background that is Confidential Information. AstraZeneca must give that Confidentiality Notice within 30 days after AstraZeneca receives details of the proposed Publication. If the Institution does not receive a Confidentiality Notice within that period, its Researcher proceed with the proposed Publication, provided that, whether or not a Confidentiality Notice has been given, any of AstraZeneca's Background that is Confidential Information may not be published.
