Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:
Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.
Paid Personal Leave A. During the first full pay period in each January, full-time employees on the payroll as of September 1, 2011 will be credited annually with paid personal leave credits at the following rate: Scheduled Hours per Week Personal Leave Credits 37.5 hours per week 37.500 hours 40.0 hours per week 40.000 hours Such personal leave may be taken during the following twelve (12) months at a time or times requested by the employee and approved by his/her Appointing Authority. Personal Necessity Leave 11.2.1 A maximum of seven (7) days of accumulated sick leave may be used in any school year for Personal Necessity Leave, including:
