Common use of Accrued Holiday Time/ Annual Leave Clause in Contracts

Accrued Holiday Time/ Annual Leave. Subject to the approval of the designated authority of the affected department, accrued holiday time may be taken off in conjunction with the employee's annual leave with two weeks' prior written notice (except in cases of bona fide emergencies), or, as mutually agreed between the employee and the designated authority.
