ORIENTATION AND INSERVICE 20.01 An orientation and inservice program will be provided to all employees; these programs shall be reviewed and discussed from time to time by members of the Union-Management Committee. The Committee will promote an environment that supports continuous learning, enhances opportunities for career development and will assist in the assessment, analysis, development and evaluation of the education programs at the facility.

Seniority Accumulation (a) (i) Part-time employees shall have their seniority expressed on the basis of number of hours worked in the bargaining unit. (The foregoing is for clarity only and therefore does not modify an employee’s level of seniority under this collective agreement or previous collective agreements.)

Classification Seniority Classification Seniority" is defined as the length of service in a specific job classification within the bargaining unit, beginning with the date an employee starts to serve a probationary appointment. Classification Seniority shall be interrupted only by separation because of resignation, discharge for just cause, failure to return upon expiration of a leave of absence, failure to respond to a recall from layoff, or retirement.
