Common use of Act of God Days Clause in Contracts

Act of God Days. 16.1 When school is closed or delayed because of an “Act of God”, Transportation Employees are excused from reporting on such days but shall suffer no loss of pay for the Act of God days. Drivers will be informed of school cancellations and/or delays as soon as reasonably possible after the decision has been made to delay or cancel. If the driver is in route when contacted, he/she may be paid for that scheduled run. Employees shall be paid for up to five (5) days of Act of God time.

Drivers will not be informed of school cancellations and/or delays as soon as reasonably possible after the decision has been made required to delay or cancel. If the driver is in route when contacted, he/she may be paid for that scheduled run. Employees report to their job assignments and shall be paid for up to five the first two and a half (52.5) days of Act of God timeoccurrences. When school delays become cancellations, drivers will be paid their hourly rate for the time they are at work.

When school delays become cancellations, drivers will be paid their hourly rate for the time they are at work. Should there be more than two Act of God days. Drivers ; drivers will be informed of school cancellations and/or delays as soon as reasonably possible after the decision has been made allowed to delay or cancel. If the driver is in route when contacted, he/she may be paid for that scheduled run. Employees shall be paid for come back to work up to five two (52) days additional days, as agreed upon with the Director, in the summer doing work assigned by the Director of Act of God timeOperations.
