Common use of ACTING TEMPORARY PAY Clause in Contracts

ACTING TEMPORARY PAY. Any classified employee who has been confirmed to employee's position may be temporarily assigned to serve in an acting capacity in a position allocated to a higher pay range than that in which the employee is employed so long as the employee is certified in the higher position. If an employee is temporarily assigned the duty of such position, employee shall, for each day thereafter so assigned be termed an "Acting Temporary" employee.
