Common use of Additional Leaves Clause in Contracts

Additional Leaves. In addition to the leaves set forth in this Collective Agreement, employees may be eligible for leaves of absence as provided in The Employment Standards Code (Manitoba). Such leaves presently include but are not limited to Compassionate Care Leave, Long Term Leave for Serious Illness or Injury, Critical Illness of a Child Leave, Critical Illness of an Adult Leave, Disappearance or Death of a Child Leave, Organ Donation Leave, and Leave for Reservists. Eligibility for such leaves will be determined in accordance with the provisions of The Employment Standards Code (Manitoba) and Regulations thereunder as amended at the time of the leave request.
