Afternoon and Night. Shift An employee working afternoon or night shift shall be paid a loading of 15% additional to the ordinary rate of pay for that employee for the whole of that shift. 11.2.2. Afternoon and Night. (a) For the purpose of clause 5.6.1 an afternoon shift is a shift other than a night shift as defined herein, that commences on or after 12 midday. Afternoon shift workers shall be paid an allowance of 12.5% for each shift of ordinary hours.

  • Afternoon Shift If a second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours of work between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 12:30 A.M. for which eight (8) hours will be paid and a shift premium of sixty-one cents (61¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.
