Ambulance Officer. An Ambulance Officer must possess experience, qualifications, licenses, knowledge and skills in the following: • Minimum twelve (12) months experience working in an animal shelter/rescue environment or similar; • And/or a Certificate III in Companion Animals Services or equivalent; • The willingness and capacity to attain a restricted drug authority under the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996; • The willingness and capacity to be appointed the partial powers of an Inspector under the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001; • The willingness and capacity to undertake Animal First Aid training in line with their duties as an ambulance officer. Such training will be provided during work time and at the expense of the Employer; • An open manual drivers’ license; • Good animal handling skills, with knowledge across many species including wildlife; • Sound computer literacy skills, including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications, e- mail and internet navigation; • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; • Excellent communication skills at all levels and a proven capacity to remain calm and in control under high pressure and emotive situations; • Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to the principles and practices of ethical conduct and Workplace Health and Safety; • A good working knowledge of the greater Brisbane area and surrounding rural and coastal areas, or the ability to rapidly acquire same. In order to progress to the next pay point an Ambulance Officer must also attain the following whilst meeting the specific agreed KPI’s as outlined in the Employees position description: • A Senior First Aid Certificate; • To have gained and consistently exercised their partial powers as an Inspector under the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001; • A restricted drug authority under the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996.

  • College President The "College President" is the Chief Executive Officer of the College.

  • Compliance Officer The Contractor shall employ a Compliance Officer who is accountable to the Contractor’s executive leadership and dedicated full-time to the Contractor’s Indiana Medicaid product lines. This individual will be the primary liaison with the State (or its designees) to facilitate communications between OMPP, the State’s contractors and the Contractor’s executive leadership and staff. This individual shall maintain a current knowledge of federal and state legislation, legislative initiatives and regulations that may impact the Hoosier Healthwise program. It is the responsibility of the Compliance Officer to coordinate reporting to the State as defined in Section 9 and to review the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of reports and data submissions to the State. The Compliance Officer, in close coordination with other key staff, has primary responsibility for ensuring all Contractor functions are in compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Compliance Officer shall meet with the OMPP Surveillance and Utilization Review Unit (SUR) on a quarterly basis.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. Preauthorization may be required for certain surgical services. Reconstructive Surgery for a Functional Deformity or Impairment This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia. Preauthorization may be required for these services.

  • Assistant Professor An Assistant Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President.   • Controller The Controller shall be the chief accounting officer of the Company.   • Ambulance Services Ground Ambulance This plan covers local professional or municipal ground ambulance services when it is medically necessary to use these services, rather than any other form of transportation as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-55. Examples include but are not limited to the following: • from a hospital to a home, a skilled nursing facility, or a rehabilitation facility after being discharged as an inpatient; • to the closest available hospital emergency room in an emergency situation; or • from a physician’s office to an emergency room. Our allowance for ground ambulance includes the services rendered by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, as well as any drugs, supplies and cardiac monitoring provided. Air and Water Ambulance This plan covers air and water ambulance services when: • the time needed to move a patient by land, or the instability of transportation by land, may threaten a patient’s condition or survival; or • if the proper equipment needed to treat the patient is not available from a ground ambulance. The patient must be transported to the nearest facility where the required services can be performed and the type of physician needed to treat the patient’s condition is available. Our allowance for the air or water ambulance includes the services rendered by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, as well as any drugs, supplies and cardiac monitoring provided.
