CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE AND WAGES. Employees shall be employed either as casual by the hour, or in the case of shearing employees by the run or per sheep as the case may be. Farm employees shall be employed to perform a range of farm related duties including, but not limited to irrigation, machinery operation, module building, harvesting, ground preparation including chipping, stick picking, stock work and other duties as directed The rate of pay shall be: Farm employees: Level 1 $15.30 per hour Level 2 $16.44 per hour Level 3 As negotiated above $16.44 Shearing Employees: The rate to be paid to all shearing employees shall be that prescribed by the higher of the relevant rate applicable in the State in which the employee shall be employed from time to time. These rates shall be adjusted as necessary in accordance with any increase handed down by the AFPC, so as not to fall below the minimum wage level. The above rates shall be an ‘all up rate’ and include any entitlement there may be to, overtime, penalty rates, shift loadings, allowances, sick leave, annual leave and annual leave loadings, holiday payments, long service leave, notice payment and redundancy entitlements, unless otherwise expressly dealt with in this agreement. A travel allowance shall be paid to the driver of a vehicle engaged in shearing operations at the rate of 28cents per klm. The allowance shall be paid per klm. for travel in both directions between the shed and the nearest reasonable accommodation. Any dispute in relation to the payment of this allowance shall be dealt with by way of the dispute resolution clause in this agreement.
CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE AND WAGES. All employees shall be employed on a casual basis and be paid as for a minimum of four hours on any day so employed, unless the employee is the one to leave before the expiry of four hours. Employees shall be classified and paid as follows; Probationary Employee: $17.45 per hour Laundry Grade 1 Employee: $18.12 per hour Laundry Grade 2 Employee: $19.25 per hour Laundry Delivery Driver: $19.10 per hour The above rates are an ‘all up rate’, including a casual loading. Rates shall be increased as per any minimum increase handed down by the Australian Fair Pay Commission as applicable from time to time. Where an employee is directed to work at a higher level than he/she normally works, payment shall be made at the higher level providing such work is for two hours or longer. An employee may upon written request elect to be paid $1.00 per hour less than the applicable rate provided in this agreement. Such amount shall be held by the employer for the purpose of the employee accessing paid periods of absence. The conditions agreed to where an employee makes such a request are as provided; * The request shall be for a specific period but not less than 6 months. * The amount deducted each week shall be recorded and advised to the employee along with the cumulative total. * The employee may only access such amount by giving the employer not less than 4 weeks notice of the intention to take a minimum of 5 days absence from work. Such absence shall be by negotiation and dependant on operational circumstances, but shall not be unreasonably refused by the employer.. * Such accrued amount may further be accessed by the employee where the employee falls sick and is absent from work for a period of 3 days or longer. Such request must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate. * Upon termination of employment all accrued amounts held by the employer shall be paid to the employee. * It is agreed that any dispute regarding the payment of the accrued amount shall be dealt with by an independent person suitable to both parties.

CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE AND WAGES a) The Classification Structure shall be a competency based system as follows: i) New employees shall be engaged on a probationary basis whereby they shall have a period of three (3) months to demonstrate competency as defined in Schedule 1, Classification Structure. Should the employee be unable to demonstrate competency within that period, the probationary period may be extended for a further three (3) month period at the discretion of management. Whilst under probation an employee will be paid at the Grade 1 rate as prescribed in Schedule 2, Wages and Allowances. ii) An employee who has satisfactorily completed probation shall be graded as Grade 1 and paid at the Grade 1 rate as prescribed in Schedule 2, Wages and Allowances. iii) An employee who has demonstrated competency for Grade 2, as defined in Schedule 1, Classification Structure, shall be paid at the Grade 2 rate as prescribed in Schedule 2, Wages and Allowances. iv) An employee who has demonstrated competency for Grade 3 as defined in Schedule 1, Classification Structure, shall be paid at the Grade 3 rate as prescribed in Schedule 2, Wages and Allowances. v) An employee who has demonstrated competency for Grade 4 as defined in Schedule 1, Classification Structure shall only be paid at the Grade 4 rate as prescribed in Schedule 2, Wages and Allowances, if so appointed.

CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE AND WAGES. (i) Employees shall be employed as part time employees, however from time to time the employer may employ casual employee(s) as required by operational demands. (ii) The minimum rate of pay for all ordinary hours worked shall be as follows; Laundry Employee $14.50 per hour $17.00 per hour Driver $15.35 per hour $18.00 per hour Clerical $15.30 per hour $18.00 per hour (iii) Casual Employees shall be paid as follows; Laundry Employee $17.40 per hour Driver $18.40 per hour Clerical $18.40 per hour (iv) In the event of a junior employee being employed in the Laundry section, they shall be paid the following percentage of the appropriate casual or part time rate as provided: 16 years and under: 65% 17 years of age: 70% 18 years of age: 80% 19 years of age: 90% thereafter the adult rate shall be paid. (v) The rates of pay in this agreement shall, unless otherwise provided for in this agreement include all protected award conditions as provided for in the Act. (vi) The employer shall review all wage rates as at the anniversary date of this agreement, each year.

For purposes of determining compliance at any time with Sections 10.01, 10.02, 10.03, 10.04, 10.05, 10.06 and 10.07, in the event that any Lien, sale, lease or other disposition of assets, Dividend, Indebtedness, Investment, transaction with Affiliates or prepayment of Indebtedness meets the criteria of more than one of the categories of transactions or items permitted pursuant to any clause of such Sections 10.01, 10.02, 10.03, 10.04, 10.05, 10.06 and 10.07, Borrower, in its sole discretion, may, from time to time, classify or reclassify such transaction or item (or portion thereof) and will only be required to include the amount and type of such transaction (or portion thereof) in any one category. Reclassifications of any utilization of the Incremental Amount shall occur automatically to the extent set forth in the definition thereof.

  • Tax Examinations Abroad 1. A Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the other Contracting Party to enter the territory of the first-mentioned Party to interview individuals and examine records with the written consent of the persons concerned. The competent authority of the second-mentioned Party shall notify the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party of the time and place of the meeting with the individuals concerned. 2. At the request of the competent authority of one Contracting Party, the competent authority of the other Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party to be present at the appropriate part of a tax examination in the second-mentioned Party. 3. If the request referred to in paragraph 2 is acceded to, the competent authority of the Contracting Party conducting the examination shall, as soon as possible, notify the competent authority of the other Party about the time and place of the examination, the authority or official designated to carry out the examination and the procedures and conditions required by the first-mentioned Party for the conduct of the examination. All decisions with respect to the conduct of the tax examination shall be made by the Party conducting the examination.

  • New Job Classifications When a new classification (which is covered by the terms of this collective agreement) is established by the Hospital, the Hospital shall determine the rate of pay for such new classification and notify the local Union of the same. If the local Union challenges the rate, it shall have the right to request a meeting with the Hospital to endeavour to negotiate a mutually satisfactory rate. Such request will be made within ten (10) days after the receipt of notice from the Hospital of such new occupational classification and rate. Any change mutually agreed to resulting from such meeting shall be retroactive to the date that notice of the new rate was given by the Hospital. If the parties are unable to agree, the dispute concerning the new rate may be submitted to arbitration as provided in the agreement within fifteen (15) days of such meeting. The decision of the arbitrator (or board of arbitration as the case may be) shall be based on the relationship established by comparison with the rates for other classifications in the bargaining unit having regard to the requirements of such classification. When the Hospital makes a substantial change in the job content of an existing classification which in reality causes such classification to become a new classification, the Hospital agrees to meet with the Union if requested to permit the Union to make representation with respect to the appropriate rate of pay. If the matter is not resolved following the meeting with the Union, the matter may be referred to arbitration as provided in the agreement within fifteen (15) days of such meeting. The decision of the arbitrator (or board of arbitration as the case may be) shall be based on the relationship established by comparison with the rates for other classifications in the bargaining unit having regard to the requirements of such classifications. The parties further agree that any change mutually agreed to or awarded as a result of arbitration shall be retroactive only to the date that the Union raised the issue with the Hospital. The parties further agree that the above process as provided herein shall constitute the process for Pay Equity Maintenance as required by the Pay Equity Act.
