Anniversary Year. For purposes of this rule, the anniversary year of Amtrak service is the number of continuous years of service with Amtrak. In determining PTO accrual, the beginning of the year in which an employee’s anniversary date falls will correspond to the anniversary year of Amtrak service. For example, if the employee will have nine years of service on November 2, 2023, the employee will start accruing at 13.33 hours per month starting on January 2023.
Anniversary Year. The one-year period beginning on the Closing Date and ending on the first anniversary thereof, and each subsequent one-year period beginning on the day after the end of the preceding Anniversary Year and ending on next succeeding anniversary of the Closing Date.
