PTO Accrual. Bargaining Unit Employees shall be entitled to paid time off each year (in addition to holidays and specific leaves described in Article 14- Additional Paid Leave), pro-rated for part time employees. The “year” refers to each Bargaining Unit Employee’s individual employment year dating from their hiring. The end of each Bargaining Unit Employee’s year is their “Anniversary”. PTO Accrual. The employer shall deposit 160 hours of PTO leave into all nurses PTO accounts no later than April 1, 2020. This PTO deposit is in recognition of risk posed to nurses as a result of workplace exposure and the likely need for use of this leave as a result of the nurses work in providing critical care.
PTO Accrual. Vacation, holiday and sick leave benefits are consolidated into an annual leave program and Extended Illness Insurance (EII) program. PTO shall begin accruing the first day of employment. Full-time and part-time employees shall accrue PTO benefits prorated for hours based on2,080 hours.
PTO Accrual. Employees shall accumulate hours under this Article based on actual hours worked (including overtime) each pay period at the rates defined below until the employee’s continuous service reaches the anniversary date entitling the employee to, the next higher rate of accumulation. Continuous service shall be computed from the employee’s date of hire. There shall be no accrual on hours worked over 2080 hours in a calendar year. (NOTE: for purposes of this Section 5 only, scheduled non-PTO hours which the employee would have worked, except that the Employer sent the employee home due to reduced workload (i.e., Early Outs), will count as “actual hours worked”).
PTO Accrual. PTO is accrued every pay period and is based on hours paid and drop time (call off). PTO Accrual. PTO leave equivalent to the annual PTO accrued by the nurse in 17 the preceding fiscal year may be carried over for one (1) year. (i.e., the maximum PTO hours 18 accumulated may not exceed three times twice the nurse's annual accrual). 19 20 Every nurse shall be granted reasonable opportunity to utilize their accrued PTO leave.
PTO Accrual. 1. Employees begin to accrue leave on the first day of the first full month following an employee's date of hire. In addition, the City may award new hires up to eighty (80) hours of PTO as a hiring incentive. Thereafter, employees shall accrue leave upon completion of each full month of service. Employees may use PTO leave once it accrues. Probationary employees may use PTO after (one (1) month of satisfactory performance upon approval by the Chief of Police, MATCOM Manager, or designee. Personal leave accrual is at the following rates:
a. Twelve (12) hours per month for employees with less than three (3) years of service.
b. Sixteen (16) hours per month for employees with three (3) years and less than eight (8) years of service.
c. Twenty (20) hours per month for employees with eight (8) years or more of service.
2. PTO Accruals shall be capped at seven hundred twenty (720) hours. Any employee with more than seven hundred twenty (720) hours of PTO accrual on May 31 of each year of this Agreement shall be paid out the balance of their PTO in excess of seven hundred twenty (720) hours at the employee's hourly rate of pay by June 30.
PTO Accrual. A. PTO shall accrue only on the basis of hours worked as shown in the following scale, PTO hours used, EIB hours used, and paid low census hours. PTO and EIB hours do not count toward calculations of overtime as they are not hours actually worked. When PTO or EIB hours are paid to an employee on a cash out basis under this policy, for example, on an employee’s termination, such hours paid out do not accrue any additional PTO or EIB benefit.
1. Full and part time nurses hired prior to January 1, 2011 will accrue PTO according to the following scale:
PTO Accrual.
