Date of Appointment. For purposes of this section, Date of Appointment shall be the first day of the month following the month in which such employee begins work. However, if that new employee begins work within the first 3 working days of the month, then the Date of Appointment shall be the first of that month.
Date of Appointment. 1.1 This appointment is effective as of (the “Effective Date”).

Date of Appointment a) Except as provided in 11.04 j), a permanent employee's date of appointment into a job shall be, for layoff and rehire purposes, the date that the employee was originally appointed to a permanent job within the class to be reduced. However, a permanent employee's date of appointment into a dual trades class shall be for layoff and rehire purposes, the date that the employee was originally appointed to a permanent job within the employee's first trades class. In the event of a reduction of a job within a dual trade class, a dually qualified employee may use his seniority to displace the most junior employee in either of the single trades classes for which he is dually qualified.
Date of Appointment. (a) A Faculty Member/Professional Librarian whose appointment takes effect in the period July 1 - September 15 is eligible to receive a salary increment on the following July 1.
(b) A Faculty Member/Professional Librarian whose appointment takes effect in the period September 16 - March 31 is eligible to receive, on the following July 1, a salary increment award pro- rated according to the completed months he/she will have served by June 30.
(c) A Faculty Member/Professional Librarian whose appointment takes effect in the period April 1 - June 30 will not be eligible to receive a salary increment award on July 1 of the same calendar year.
(d) A Faculty Member/Professional Librarian with a term appointment whose appointment end date falls before July 1 will not be eligible to receive an increment award on July 1 of the same calendar year.
Date of Appointment. (a) A Member whose date of initial appointment is not within the previous twelve (12) months is eligible for a salary increment based on the performance rating established under Article 23.
(b) For Members whose date of initial appointment is within the previous twelve (12) months:
(i) A Member whose appointment takes effect in the period July 1st - September 15th is eligible to receive a salary increment on the following July 1st. In the case of an Instructor/Academic Assistant, this increment shall be that associated with an overall performance score of 1.
(ii) A Member whose appointment takes effect in the period September 16th - March 31st is eligible to receive, on the following July 1st, a salary increment pro-rated from the value in Article 24.03.1(b)(i), according to the completed months they will have served by June 30th.
(iii) A Member whose appointment takes effect in the period April 1st - June 30th will not be eligible to receive a salary increment on July 1st of the same calendar year.
Date of Appointment. 1.1 Your date of appointment will be effective from the date you join the Company, which shall be Nov 13, 2023.
