Appropriate Clothing. Student Nutrition employees are required to dress appropriately, conforming to both the dress code of the building in which they work and the regulations of the county health department. Closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes are required for safety. The expectation is that staff will dress in a manner that reflects that this district's operation has earned the District of Excellence in Child Nutrition distinction and that the staff is well trained and professional in actions and appearance as outlined in the Child Nutrition employee handbook.

Appropriate Clothing. For each child in care clothing provided by the Contractor that, at a minimum, is: In sufficient quantity such that there are an adequate number of the following: T-shirts, undershirts, underwear, bras, socks, shoes, pants, shirts, skirts, blouses, coats/jackets, sweaters, pajamas, shorts and other clothing necessary for a child to partake in daily activities; Gender and age-appropriate; Proportionate to the child’s size; In good condition, and is not worn-out with holes or tears (not intended by the manufacturer to be part of the item of clothing); and Clean and washed on a regular basis.

The BOARD will provide five (5) shirts to wear with employee provided khaki-colored pants or appropriate length shorts. Replacements of provided shirts will be made as determined by the supervisor.   • Protective Clothing 14.1 The Employer will be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).
