Common use of Armed Services Leave Clause in Contracts

Armed Services Leave. a. A leave of absence shall be granted to a bargaining unit member who is inducted or enlists for one (1) period of enlistment in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States or shall be granted a leave in accordance with federal or state law. b. Upon completion of such service, reinstatement shall be in accordance with the requirements of the applicable laws of the United States. Regular salary increments and seniority shall accrue.
