Common use of Assigned Overtime Clause in Contracts

Assigned Overtime. Normal overtime scheduled and assigned by management to any classifications shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the employee’s applicable hourly rate or in compensating time off at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for work assigned on a Saturday at the rate of double time for work assigned on a Sunday. The choice of pay or compensating time off will be the employee’s, subject to Article 19.
