Assignment Posting. 1. No later than December 1st of each year, a list of all assignments for each rank shall be posted on the bulletin board in the police station. In addition, and at the request of the Union, a tangible instrument (“Bid Board”), which fairly represents the available positions and the number of Officers designated for such position for the upcoming year, as determined by the Chief, shall be utilized by a designated member of the Union to facilitate the Officers’ preference for assignment. All Officers shall indicate their preference no later than December 20th of each year. The results shall be forwarded to the Chief of Police for approval no later than December 20th of each year.

Assignment Posting. When there is a vacancy in an existing assignment, or new assignment within the Police Department, with the exception of a maximum of four (4) positions of which shall be exempt and filled at the discretion of the Chief of Police and the Chief of Police determines to fill in the position, employees of the proper rank desiring to bid on such assignment may do so as follows:

Assignment Posting. If an assignment becomes available the Employer will post such assignment for a 72 hour period. Anyone in the bargaining unit interested in the assignment will express interest by signing the posting. The Employer will fill assignments in a manner it determines is in the best interest of the County and any decision will not be subject to the grievance procedure of this collective bargaining unit. If a 40 hour Employee accepts a lesser position such as a 30 hour assignment, the 40 hour Employee will become a 30 hour employee. There will be only one posting per open assignment. Any openings created by the initial posting will be filled in accordance with what is determined to be in the best interest of the County. If no interest is expressed in the assignment as posted by existing employees, the County will fill the position from outside.

  • Assignment Policy The University agrees to assign space only after the applicant has submitted the University Deposit and housing application. Priority of assignment for all students is based on the date the signed Residence Hall Occupancy Contract is received. Requests for specific roommates will be honored based on priority date and availability of space.

  • CESSION, ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER 30.1 The Licensee is not entitled to cede, assign or transfer any of its rights, title or interest in the Agreement without XXXXX’s consent, which consent must not be unreasonably withheld.
