Higher Education Incentive. 25.1. Employees at levels HP1, HP2, HP3 and HP4 who gain a relevant Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma, second Degree or equivalent credential; or Post Graduate Masters Degree or PhD will be entitled to immediate advancement of one increment (maintaining the employee's increment date). 25.2. Employees at levels HP1, HP2, HP3 and HP4 who have been at the top increment of their level for 12 months are entitled to a higher education incentive allowance instead of the increment advancement contained in clause 25.1 of: (i) for employees with a relevant Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma, second Degree or equivalent credential, an additional all–purpose allowance of 3.5% of HP2.7 (for levels HP1 and HP2 employees) or HP3.7 (for levels HP3 and HP4 employees); or (ii) for employees with a relevant Post Graduate Masters Degree or PhD who have been at the top increment of their level for 12 months, an additional all–purpose allowance of 5.5% of HP2.7 (for levels HP1 and HP2 employees) or HP3.7 (for levels HP3 and HP4 employees). 25.3. A set of principles identifying which qualifications and equivalent credentials are relevant for the purposes of clauses 25.1 and 25.2, including examples, are contained within HR Policy C27. Further relevant qualifications and equivalent credentials may be approved during the life of the Agreement by the HPDOCG. 25.4. Employees must apply for the recognition of a relevant qualification or equivalent credentials through their Supervisor, who will be guided by the set of principles contained within HR Policy C27. An employee's entitlement to the higher education incentive will be confirmed by the Director–General or their authorised delegate upon viewing the original, or a certified copy of, a relevant qualification or equivalent credentials. 25.5. Employees are entitled to receive the higher education incentive allowance from the date the application is submitted.

Higher Education Incentive. All employees who have successfully acquired a certificate or diploma representing attainment of an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and/or any other acceptable Criminal Justice /Law Enforcement degree (s), shall receive an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the employee’s annual base pay, paid annually on the last pay day in September. Police Officers pursuing an Associate Degree and who have not attained one will be compensated at the following rate: 1. Fifty dollars ($50) per credit hour up to, but not to exceed, three thousand dollars ($3,000) to be paid annually on the last day in September until the degree has been earned.
Higher Education Incentive. Any classified staff employee listed in the above salary schedule categories, who attains (or possesses) a degree from a 4-year accredited institution will be paid a 2% increase in their hourly wage. Any member who attains (or possesses) a 2-year degree from an accredited institution shall be paid a 1% increase in their hourly wage. Staff members are required to notify the treasurer’s office by August 1 if they have attained degree status. Notification will include written requests and copies of official transcripts verifying graduation.

(c) Sonographer/MRI rates comprise of the higher education incentive for post graduate qualifications of 2 years and over. This clause will not apply to Sonographers/MRI Techs except for an allowance of 1.5% of MIT Level 2 Year 3 rate for a Masters and 2.5% of MIT Level 2 Year 3 for a Doctorate. This is the difference between the post graduate qualification and the higher masters or doctorate qualification.

Higher Education Incentive. The Parties agree that a Higher Education Incentive should be adopted to encourage employees to obtain Masters level degrees. Any employee possessing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in any of the following fields of study shall receive the sum of $1,000 per year.   • Higher education expenses Payments taken for certain qualified higher education expenses for you, your spouse, or the children or grandchildren of you or your spouse, will not be subject to the 10 percent early distribution penalty tax.

  • Education Incentive A. The following monthly education incentive pay will be paid to each employee upon completing the listed degree and providing proof of completion to the Agency. Associate Degree Two percent (2%) Bachelor Degree Four percent (4%) B. The above percentages will be based upon the employee’s base rate of pay. C. An employee will be entitled to one (1) education incentive pay only. D. Degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher education.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund effective January 1st, 2013 and each year thereafter, two thousand ($2,000.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave. Said Paid Education Leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the Dependent Contractor’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies will be paid into a trust fund established by the National Union, Unifor and sent by the Company to the following address: Unifor Education Leave Program c/o Unifor 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 The Company further agrees that members of the bargaining unit selected by the Union to attend such courses will be granted a Leave of Absence without pay for twenty (20) days class time, plus travel time where necessary, with said Leave of Absence to be intermittent over a twelve (12) month period from the first day of leave. Dependent Contractors on such leave will continue to accrue seniority and benefits during such leave.

  • MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR EDUCATION 1. Prior to the submission of a new application for any new mortgage loan originator license or, as applicable, the filing of a petition for the reinstatement of an MLO Activity Endorsement in any Participating State as provided for in Section II, Paragraph 2 of this Order, the Respondent will be required to complete the following mortgage loan originator education requirements: a. Twenty hours of NMLS approved PE, which shall consist of 14 hours of federal law curriculum, three hours of ethics curriculum, and three hours of non-traditional mortgage lending curriculum. None of these 20 hours of PE may be state-specific curriculum; and b. Eight hours of CE, which shall consist of four hours of federal law curriculum, two hours of ethics curriculum, and two hours of non-traditional mortgage lending curriculum. None of these eight hours of CE may be state-specific curriculum. 2. Respondent may not take any of the PE or CE provided for in Paragraph 1 of this Section in an online self-study format (“OSS”). 3. For a period three years from the Effective Date of this Order, Respondent shall be required to complete any additional required PE and/or CE in a format other than OSS.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Long-Term Incentive Compensation Subject to the Executive’s continued employment hereunder, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in any equity incentive plan for executives of the Firm as may be in effect from time to time, in accordance with the terms of any such plan.
