ASSISTANCE DURING BIDDING. Assist the City in solicitation of construction bids from as many qualified bidders as possible, attend the bid opening and tabulate bid proposals, make an analysis of the bids, and submit recommendations for the award of construction contract.

ASSISTANCE DURING BIDDING. 12.1 Prepare addenda and respond to bidders questions relayed through the City. It is assumed that the CONSULTANT will prepare three (3) addenda. The consultant team will not charge for work to prepare addendums if they are needed to correct or clarify errors or omissions in the bid package. Management Reserve Management reserve will be used to address potential unforeseen design changes and/or additions as mutually agreed upon by the City and the Consultant. No work will be billed to this task without prior authorization from the City. A fee estimate will be developed at the time the work is requested.
ASSISTANCE DURING BIDDING. Once the 100% PS&E submittal to the City has been completed for the design contract, R&E shall remain ‘on-call’ until the contract has been awarded to the successful bidder.   • Time Off During Notice Period During the period of notice of termination given by the employer, an employee shall be allowed up to one day's time off without loss of pay for the purpose of seeking other employment. This time off shall be taken at times that are convenient to the employee after consultation with the employer.

  • Maintenance during Construction Period (i) During the Construction Period, the Contractor shall maintain, at its cost, the existing lane(s) of the Project Highway so that the traffic worthiness and safety thereof are at no time materially inferior as compared to their condition on Appointed Date, and shall undertake the necessary repair and maintenance works for this purpose; provided that the Contractor may, at its cost, interrupt and divert the flow of traffic if such interruption and diversion is necessary for the efficient progress of Works and conforms to Good Industry Practice; provided further that such interruption and diversion shall be undertaken by the Contractor only with the prior written approval of the Authority’s Engineer which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that the Contractor shall at all times be responsible for ensuring safe operation of the Project Highway. It is further agreed that in the event the Project includes construction of a bypass or tunnel and realignment of the existing carriageway, the Contractor shall maintain the existing highway in such sections until the new Works are open to traffic.

  • Frequency and Duration There shall be an open enrollment period for health coverage in each year of this Agreement, and for dental coverage in the first year of this Agreement. Each year of the Agreement, all employees shall have the option to complete a Health Assessment. Open enrollment periods shall last a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days in each year of the Agreement. Open enrollment changes become effective on January 1 of each year of this Agreement. Subject to a timely contract settlement, the Employer shall make open enrollment materials available to employees at least fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the open enrollment period.
