Bid MeetingThe Employer shall hold a bid meeting after the initial posting process when a vacancy has occurred. In such cases, additional openings may occur as a result of bidding and those openings may be filled by drivers attending the bid meeting by seniority. Such openings which result and are filled during the bid meeting shall not require posting as previously specified in this Article.
Bid Meeting. 1. The Association and the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources & Secondary Curriculum shall meet no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of school to review the current status of available positions. The District shall provide a list of current and available positions. 2. The District shall inform all Association members in writing of a mutually agreeable time and location for the Bid Meeting. Along with this notice, the District shall send to each member a list of current and vacant positions. 3. The District shall schedule a meeting for bidding prior to the first workday of the school year. This meeting shall provide the opportunity to bid on positions for the school year. All members shall attend the meeting. If a member does not attend the meeting due to extenuating circumstances and has not made prior arrangements with the Association President to bid, his/her position shall be considered vacant and be put up for bid. (See Article X-G) 4. Bidding at this meeting shall be by seniority. Starting with the most senior employee he/she shall either remain in his/her current position or bid on any vacant positions. If an employee chooses to leave his/her current position, the position is put up for bid, starting over with the most senior employee. 5. After all vacant positions are filled; any employees left without a position shall be laid off. Any positions left unfilled shall be filled by new hires.
Bid Meeting. Owing to the urgency of the project there shall be no pre-bid meeting. Bidders shall submit their proposals based on their understanding of this Tender Document.
Bid MeetingIn order to avoid undue delay in the filling of vacancies, when it is apparent to Administration that a number of vacancies and/or subsequent vacancies may occur, the following will apply: 1. The Administration and Association may mutually agree to suspend the posting process and provide for a bid meeting. 2. All known vacancies will be posted for a period of at least five (5) workdays prior to the bid meeting. 3. The parties will mutually agree on a process to ensure all members are informed of the importance of the meeting and how vacancies will be filled, including members on layoff. 4. All employees (active or on layoff) interested in filling any of the posted positions, or positions which may subsequently be created by those filling positions, should be present at the meeting. 5. Posted vacancies will be filled by the most senior, qualified person who bids for the position. Subsequently created vacancies will be filled in the same manner. At the close of the bid meeting, all selections shall be final and binding.

The final meeting must be completed during the closeout of this Agreement. This meeting will be attended by the Recipient and CAM, at a minimum. The meeting may occur in person or by electronic conferencing (e.g., WebEx), with approval of the CAM. The technical and administrative aspects of Agreement closeout will be discussed at the meeting, which may be divided into two separate meetings at the CAM’s discretion. o The technical portion of the meeting will involve the presentation of findings, conclusions, and recommended next steps (if any) for the Agreement. The CAM will determine the appropriate meeting participants. o The administrative portion of the meeting will involve a discussion with the CAM and the CAO of the following Agreement closeout items:  Disposition of any state-owned equipment.  Need to file a Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement (Form UCC-1) regarding the Energy Commission’s interest in patented technology.  The Energy Commission’s request for specific “generated” data (not already provided in Agreement products).  Need to document the Recipient’s disclosure of “subject inventions” developed under the Agreement.  “Surviving” Agreement provisions such as repayment provisions and confidential products.  Final invoicing and release of retention. • Prepare a Final Meeting Agreement Summary that documents any agreement made between the Recipient and Commission staff during the meeting.

  • Special Meeting Special meetings of the stockholders may be called only by such persons and only in such manner as set forth in the Certificate of Incorporation. No business may be transacted at any special meeting of stockholders other than the business specified in the notice of such meeting. The Board may postpone, reschedule or cancel any previously scheduled special meeting of stockholders.
