Assistance to be Provided to the Auditor and Financial Statement Preparation. A. Finance and Accounting Department and Clerical Assistance The Finance and Accounting Department staff of the Comptroller’s office and responsible management personnel will be available during the audit to assist the firm by providing information, documentation and explanations. The preparation of trial balances will be done by the Finance and Accounting Department staff of the Comptroller’s office for the Board of County Commissioners and Comptroller; other offices provide their own. Any additional information provided will be in the format maintained by the County. Any additional or reformatted schedules will be the responsibility of the auditor.
