Association Leave - President, O.N.A. Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Home, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of the President of the Ontario Nurses’ Association. Notwithstanding Article 12.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse’s salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Home and the Association agrees to reimburse the Home in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses’ Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Home of her intention to return to work at least three (3) months prior to the date of such return.
