Authorization and certification of dues. 18 Deduction of membership dues must be authorized in writing on the form 19 provided by the Union. The amount to be deducted for dues and Fair Share Service Fees shall 20 be certified in writing to the County by the Union President or their designee. The aggregate of 21 all deductions shall be remitted, together with an itemized statement, to the Treasurer of the 22 Union at an address certified to the County in writing by the Union President or their designee, 23 within five (5) working days after it is withheld or by such time as the parties mutually agree in 24 writing.

If requested by FOPPO, the County shall 25 remit dues and/or Service Fees to a designated FOPPO financial account via 26 Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
