Authorized Leave Without Pay. Section 13.1 - An employee may apply for a leave without pay from the District by application in writing to the immediate supervisor. Upon recommendation of the immediate supervisor through Human Resources to the Superintendent, and upon approval of the Board of Education, an employee may be granted leave without pay for a period not to exceed one (1) year.
