AWARD OF DEGREE. The scholar who completes all the requirements of the Joint Ph.D programme as described above will be may be awarded a single degree certificate with the signatures and stamps of both the Institutes. The format of the degree certificate will be jointly finalized by the two Institutes. The degree will be awarded at the convocation of the Home Institute. Alternatively two separate degree certificates may be awarded by the respective Institutes. However, the wording in both the degree certificates must indicate unambiguously that the degree is being awarded jointly with the Partner Institute (by name) for the same thesis. The wording of the joint degree certificate or the respective degree certificates of the two Institutes as described above is / are attached as an annexure to this agreement.
AWARD OF DEGREE. Subject to the satisfactory completion of all award requirements, the successful completion of the oral examination and on the basis of a favourable report by the doctoral committee, the two universities are both committed to jointly award the doctoral degree. Based on a favourable report by the doctoral committee the final decision on the part of TU Dresden to award its degree is subject to confirmation by the doctoral studies board. Both institutions undertake to confer the degree of … of Technische Universität Dresden and … of University 2. The two institutions recognise the validity of the joint supervision and the validity of the diploma granted. The doctoral certificates issued by the two institutions will give notice of the fact that the doctorate was prepared on the basis of a Co-tutelle Agreement. They will be signed and sealed by the responsible authorities at the respective universities. The certificates will entitle the doctoral candidate to only use either the German or the … form of the doctoral degree. A decision by one university not to award the degree does not preclude the other university from awarding the degree. A decision by one university to award the degree does not entail the obligation for the other university to award the degree.
AWARD OF DEGREE. Two separate degree certificates shall be awarded for the one-degree by the respective Institutions in line with their respective protocols/styles. The wording in both degree certificates must indicate unambiguously that the degree is being awarded jointly with the Partner Institution (by name) for the same thesis. Sample certificates are attached to this Agreement.
AWARD OF DEGREE. 3.1 Both universities accept the study program of the partner university as equal to their own. The structure of the program as well as the learning outcomes are comparable and on the same level of standards. The examination results, assessments and grades the students obtain at the partner university will be recognized by both institutions.
3.2 Students accepted for the double degree program who successfully complete all set requirements at both universities (coursework, exams, final project, bachelor thesis) will be awarded the degree “X.Xx. Betriebswirtschaftslehre” (180 credits) by the UR as well as the degree “Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas” (240 credits) by the UMA.
3.3 In any case, exchange students must study courses whose respective ECTS credits values will be at least 60.
AWARD OF DEGREE. It is specifically recorded that institutional rules, regulations, policies, procedures and standing orders as well the institutions' respective legislative requirements relevant to higher education . must be adhered to at all times. The completion of the curriculum is rewarded by a Joint Master Degree detailing both the common and specialised curriculum and issued by the University of Xxxxxxxxx on behalf of the seven partner institutions. It is further recorded that in terms of the "Dra.ft Poiiry FrameworkJor the Internationalization ojHigher Education in South Afi7cď issued by the Sóuth African Department of Higher Education and Training (Government Gazette No. 40815) the term "co-badged" will apply to all degrees awarded in terms of this agreement were such degree has been obtained with the academic input of \ its. The term 'co-badgeď refers to collaborative programmes in terms of which a part of the curriculum is offered by a partner institution, but where the degree is (a) accredited at and (b) awarded by the awarding institution only. The awarding institution recognises the contribution of one or more other partner institutions by a reference on the degree certificate (which may include the name(s) and/ or badge(s) of the other participant(s)) as well as through a transcript of records (or transcript supplement). A transcript of records (or transcript supplement) describing persona! curriculum contents and the academic contribution of the institutions and a joint diploma supplement are delivered to each graduate. At the end of the programme, students are invited to a graduation ceremony in Oldenburg where they are given the opportunity to present their Master thesis research project and be awarded their joint master degree.
AWARD OF DEGREE. Once an OMFS Resident has completed all degree requirements as approved by the CHM and University governance structures and the LCME, the University shall award the resident an M.D. degree. OMFS Residents shall be permitted to participate in the University’s commencement ceremony in the year in which they are awarded their M.D. degree.
AWARD OF DEGREE. Upon approval of the joint PhD in Co-tutela, each party will independently confer upon the doctoral student a diploma officially recognized by both institutions. International co-supervision will be registered according to the regulations of each University. UFMT will award the Doctorate degree in the Portuguese language, and [University Name] will award the Doctorate degree in the English language. Both institutions will acknowledge the validity of the Doctoral thesis conducted through the Collaboration Agreement on the Co-tutela of a doctoral thesis and the validity of the degree obtained.
AWARD OF DEGREE. 10.1 If the thesis is successfully defended, the institution at which the defence takes place will transmit a copy of the complete defence file to the other Institution. On the Scholar satisfying all requirements and obtaining all internal approvals for the conferral of the degree at each Institution, each Institution will award the Scholar with a doctoral degree.
10.2 Two separate degree certificates will be awarded by the respective Institutes in line with their respective protocols/styles. The wording in both degree certificates must indicate unambiguously that the degree is being awarded jointly with the Partner Institute (by name) for the same thesis.
10.3 A decision by one Institute not to confer an award does not preclude the other Institute from conferring an award, however that award must not refer to this Agreement or imply that the other Institute has approved the conferral of the award.

The JDP Student who completes all the requirements of the JDP as described above will be awarded degree certificate/s from their Home Institution whichindicates that the degree was conducted and awarded in collaboration with Partner Institution. The format and wording of the degree certificate/s will be jointly finalized by the two Institutes. The degree will be awarded at the convocation of the Home Institute.
AWARD OF DEGREE. Doctoral candidates receive a joint degree from their selected universities, where they have studied at least for two semesters. The PhD document includes the names and signatures of the persons specified by the local examination regulations of the degree-awarding universities as well as the seal of the degree-awarding universities. It includes the designation of the academic degree, or both national designations, in case these are different, and a remark to the effect that the European PhD Program in Computational Logic was conducted jointly by several universities.
