BARGAINING PROCEDURE 10.01 All negotiations with a view to the completion of a collective agreement or to effecting changes or modifications in this Agreement shall be conducted between the authorized bargaining Representatives of the Union on the one hand and the designated bargaining Representatives of the Company on the other.

LABOUR MANAGEMENT BARGAINING RELATIONS 9.1 No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Association at meetings with the Employer without the authority of the President or the General Secretary acting on behalf of the Association.
TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to:
Negotiations Leave The Employer agrees to allow a maximum of two (2) employees time off without pay during their regular scheduled work hours, for the purpose of attending negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Such employees will be paid by the Employer as if they had worked. The Employer will then bill the Union for all lost wages and benefits and the Union will remit payment promptly.
BARGAINING AGENCY 2.01 The Company recognizes and agrees that the Union is the sole bargaining agent for the employees of the Company employed at the place(s) set out in the certificate(s) of bargaining authority and at any other premises opened or taken over by the Company in British Columbia.
Contract Negotiations Where operational requirements permit, and on reasonable notice, the Employer shall grant special leave with pay for not more than two (2) representatives of each bargaining unit for the purpose of attending contract negotiation meetings with the Employer on behalf of the Union. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Collective Bargaining Agreements This chapter shall be superseded by a collective bargaining agreement that expressly so provides.
RECOGNITION AND BARGAINING UNIT 2.1 The City hereby recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining representative, for the purposes stated in RCW 41.56, for the bargaining unit as defined by the Public Employment Relations Commission certification contained in Appendix A of this Agreement.
Bargaining unit members shall earn their salary at the Equalized Daily rate. A bargaining unit member’s Equalized Daily Rate of Pay shall be calculated based upon dividing the annual salary by the number of paid days in the bargaining unit member’s work calendar. Upon termination, bargaining unit members shall be paid through their last day worked at the Equalized Daily rate.
