BARGAINING UNIT ALTERATION. The Board shall not alter the Bargaining Unit by a change in job title when there has been no substantive change in the nature of the duties and responsibilities assigned to Unit Members performing the job. If the Board proposes to change any existing job title or description, or to create new job titles covering work now being performed by the members of the Bargaining Unit, the Administration shall notify the UNO AAUP of such proposed action and meet upon request to discuss the impact of the proposed changes on the composition of the Unit. If the Board proposes to change or reorganize any academic unit at UNO in any manner which would alter the Bargaining Unit as described in Section 2.1, the Board will notify the UNO AAUP of the proposal and will meet upon request with the UNO AAUP to discuss the impact of the proposed action on the composition of the Unit. With respect to Section 2.3, notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, neither party waives the right of recourse to the Commission of Industrial Relations.
