BEREAVEMENT ALLOWANCE. 16.01(a) The employer agrees to allow employees leave of absence, without loss of pay for five consecutive regular working days (calculated at straight time at the base hourly rate) in the event of the death of a parent, spouse or child, provided the time is required to look after funeral arrangements or family needs.
