JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. When an Employee has been absent from work because of jury service, the Employee shall be paid their regular salary by the Employer with the understanding that, at the completion of jury service, the Employee shall present any jury service check to the Employer or the amount of such check, less the amount included for traveling expenses, shall be deducted from the next regular paycheck or the Employee shall pay the Employer an amount equivalent to the jury service pay excluding travel expense allowed.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. 16.01 In the case of an employee who has established seniority and is called for Jury service or subpoenaed as a witness, except for arbitration, the Company shall pay for each day of such service, an allowance equal to the difference between eight (8) hours of pay based on his regular straight time hourly rate and the payment he received for jury service or Crown witness. The employee will present proof of service and of pay received therefore when making his claim for such allowance. An employee who is called for jury service or subpoenaed as a witness by the Crown must notify the Company immediately.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. An employee who is called for Jury Duty or as a subpoenaed witness and who attends Court for all or part of a scheduled work day will be excused from work for that full day regardless of scheduled shift on that day and shall receive for each day of such jury or witness duty, the difference between eight (8) hours at his average hourly rate and the jury or witness fee received for that day. The Company may require the employee to furnish a certificate of service signed by the Clerk of the Court before making any payment under this Article.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. 32:01 A seniority employee who is summoned for jury duty or jury selection, including a coroner's jury, or who is subpoenaed to testify as a witness for the Crown or the accused or as witness in a civil suit, shall be paid the difference between the pay he receives for such duty or testimony (exclusive of travel allowance or reimbursement for expenses), and the pay he would have received to a maximum of eight (8) hours at his regular rate of pay, for any time lost. Employees who are not required to remain in court for a full day shall report for work within a reasonable time after being excused from court. Employees required to serve on jury duty while on vacation will be able to reschedule their vacation.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. An employee summoned to appear or required to serve jury duty or one who has been served with a subpoena to appear as a witness, shall be paid the difference between what he would have earned for his/her scheduled hours at his/her paid rate and the court fee received. Employees should notify their xxxxxxx as soon as possible after receipt of notice of selection for jury duty or subpoenaed to appear as a witness. The Company may require the employee to furnish a certificate of service from an officer of the court before making any payment under this section. The employee will come to work during those regular hours that he is not required to attend the court.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. In the case of an employee who is called for jury service, or subpoenaed as a witness for the Crown, the Company shall pay for each day of such service, an allowance equal to the difference between eight (8) hours of pay, based on his regular straight time hourly rate and the payment he received for jury service. The employee will present proof of service and or pay received there- fore, when making his claim for such allowance.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. Any employee who has completed one or more years of continuous employment who is required to perform jury duty or is required to appear as a witness in a court trial by subpoena in which the employee is not a litigant, will be entitled to reimbursement at the straight time hourly rate of their regular job for the hours necessarily lost as a result of serving on the jury or reasonable time for appearing as a witness. When subpoenaed as a witness in order to obtain the benefits of this section, notice to the Company and written proof of subpoena service must be given at least 36 hours in advance of appearance requirement. The employee will be required to furnish a signed statement from a responsible officer of the court as proof of jury service.
JURY DUTY ALLOWANCE. A. Any regular (blue-slip and/or labor pool) employee as defined in Section 3 who is required to perform jury duty will be entitled to reimbursement at the straight time hourly rate of his regular job for the hours necessarily lost as a result of serving on the jury, provided, however, that such reimbursement shall not exceed eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week, less pay received for jury duty. The employee will be required to furnish a signed statement from a responsible officer of the court as proof of jury service and jury duty pay received. The employee will also be required to provide proof of jury duty attendance and time of day excused, and if released by 11:00 AM, will be expected to return to work (days or nights). Jury duty for Federal Court will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
B. Hours paid for jury duty will be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing vacation, holiday and overtime pay.
X. Xxxxxxx reimbursement as specified in Paragraphs A and B will be granted to an employee who necessarily loses time from work because of his appearance in court pursuant to proper subpoena, except when he is either a plaintiff or defendant in the court proceeding.

An employee who is called for Jury Duty or subpoenaed witness and who by virtue of such duty time from work shall receive for each day of such Jury or Witness duty the difference between eight (8) hours at the base rate of the employee’s regularjob and thejury fee or witness fee received for that day. The Company may require the employee to furnish a certificate of service signed by the Clerk of the Court before making any payment under this clause. Effective the 1stof the month following date of ratifi- cation, the plan the 1st of will be revised to provide the of benefits outlined in Appendix The Company will continue to make reasonable and necessary provisions for the health and safety of its employees while employed. Proper safety devices and other necessary equipment shall be provided by the Company in accordance with its present practice. When any important change in plant policy is enacted by the Management concerning employ- ees coming under the jurisdiction of the Union, the Union Committee is to be advised and those policies discussed and explained in order that employees’ questions pertaining to the said changes in policy can be accurately explained and an- swered by the Stewards of the Union. A departmental Union Xxxxxxx shall be called in on all preliminary accident investigations. An at- tempt shall be made to notify in advance a member of the Health and Safety Committee of the time and location of such meeting. When accident investigations %neces- sary, a Union Health and Safety Committee rep- resentative and xxxxxxx from the department in- volved shall be present. The Union Office shall be notified in advance of all such meetings. The composition and function of the Health and Safety Committee shall be: The Health and Safety Committee shall consist of three (3) permanent I members representing Management, and three

(c) Any regular employee involuntarily subpoenaed as a witness in court of law (not as a party to the legal action), will be entitled to reimbursement at the straight time hourly rate of his/her regular job for the hours necessarily lost as a result of serving as a witness; provided, however, that such reimbursement shall not exceed eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week less pay received for being a witness. The employee will be required to furnish a signed statement from a responsible officer of the court as proof of serving as a witness and witness pay received.
(d) It is the intent of the Company and the Unions that the employees shall work as much time as reasonably possible while on call for jury duty.
