Bid Periods- Permanent/Summer. 1. There will be six (6) bid periods each year. A bid form will be made available to all eligible IBU employees for each bid period. One (1) bid period will be for summer schedule (Summer Schedule Bid Period); these assignments will only be for the summer schedule. (See Paragraph 4 for further information about the Summer Schedule Bid Period). The remaining five (5) bid periods (Permanent Bid Period) will be for permanent assignments and seasons’ these five (5) bid periods will take place between August and March. Each summer dates for all six (6) bid periods will be determined and sent to all IBU employees. Summer and fall bid periods will always take place. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Non-Paid Status During Treatment After Positive Test The employee will be in a non-pay status during any absence for evaluation or treatment, while participating in a rehabilitation program.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Higher Salary Range Maximum Upon appointment to the higher class, the employee’s base salary will be increased to a step of the range for the new class that is nearest to five percent (5.0%) higher than the amount of the pre-promotional step, or to the entry step of the new range, whichever is higher.
