Blood Donation. An employee may be granted paid release time of up to a maximum of one (1) hour, chargeable to sick leave for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work. The length of such leave must be approved by the supervisor and is dependent upon the nature and scheduling of the work performed and the travel distance required.
