Common use of Broken leave Clause in Contracts

Broken leave. (i) Leave allowed under the provisions of this clause shall be given and taken in one consecutive period, or if the employer and the employee so agree, in any combination of periods. (ii) An employee and employer may agree to defer payment of the annual leave loading in respect of single day absences, until at least five consecutive days have been taken.
