Bus Assignments Clause Samples
Bus Assignments. (a) Each bus is assigned to the bus run and not to the bus driver. When it is necessary, in the opinion of the Board, to replace a bus or transfer a bus, buses will be assigned or re-assigned to the bus run where the Board determines there is the need to replace that bus for that run.
Bus Assignments. Busses shall be assigned to drivers by the Supervisor of Transportation and adjusted as necessary to match route and driver. Drivers shall be trained as appropriate.
Bus Assignments. Buses will be assigned based on their compatibility to the route as determined by management.
Bus Assignments. Bus assignments will be made daily at the beginning of each bid full-time straight run and will remain in effect for the day so that the same bus will be assigned to the Operator before and after lunch relief. Assigned buses may be removed from a run for the purposes of charters, maintenance, passenger counts, special events, or, in the case of an emergency.
Bus Assignments. Drivers, in an order of seniority, may select from those buses appropriate for the size and type of bus run bid, a bus to be the drivers assigned bus. The District reserves the right to reassign busses based upon the size and type of bus run, changes in student population, or other District needs.
Bus Assignments. All regular assignments, including the Athletic Practice Run and the ECE and Building Block van run, continue from year to year unless there is a vacancy; however, the hours may change.
Bus Assignments. The parties agree that it is desirable that the district best use 3 its equipment, in part by determining the appropriate vehicles to transport students. They also, 4 however, recognize the drivers’ desire to choose the equipment they use. Therefore, at bid, 5 categories of buses available for each run or route shall be made clear so that drivers may choose 6 their runs, routes and buses accordingly. Bus availability will be determined by the District 7 based on program needs and bus size, capacity, age, location and condition. During the year, a 8 change in equipment may be made only upon determination that it is necessary to best use such 9 equipment based on the same criteria used to categorize buses during bids.
Bus Assignments. NECTD reserves the right to change, without notice to Purchasing Company, the transit service schedule, total service hours, days on which service is provided and service area.
