CABLE MODEMS. The County and Participating Municipalities shall have 90 days from the Effective Date to transition to a Comcast Business Service Internet Plan for the cable modem accounts listed in Exhibit 5 or to cancel service. Comcast agrees there will be no charge for the cable modem accounts listed in Exhibit 5 during this 90-day transition period.

CABLE MODEMS. The Internet Service may require the use of a cable modem. To obtain our Maximum Throughput Rate, you may lease a cable modem from us for a monthly fee or purchase one from a list of modems authorized for use on our systems. For a list of ATMC-Authorized modems, see xxx.xxxx.xxx.
CABLE MODEMS. The HSD Service requires the use of a cable modem. You may lease a cable modem from us for a monthly fee or purchase one from a list of modems authorized for use on our systems. For a list of TWC-authorized modems, see xxx.xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. In addition, if you use a modem we do not supply, or if you do not replace the modem we provide when we increase speeds, you may not be capable of obtaining our Maximum Throughput rate.
CABLE MODEMS. For cable modem delivered Internet Services, Cox shall supply a cable modem (“Modem”). Customer shall not tamper with, or attempt to reprogram the Modem, including, but not limited to, “uncapping” the Modem or affecting its bandwidth settings. Cox may terminate Service to any Modem that has been altered following programming or installation by Cox. The Modem shall be deemed Cox equipment under Section 11 of this Agreement.
CABLE MODEMS. (a) The Reseller is responsible for providing cable modems to retail customers. (b) To facilitate inventory management, quality assurance, network compatibility and ongoing support, the Reseller should purchase or rent cable modems from Cable Bahamas at prices mentioned in Annex 2 of this Agreement. In that case Cable Bahamas will initially provision and configure the retail customer’s cable modem. (c) Subject to 5.2. (c), the Reseller may provide cable modems to its retail customers under terms and conditions (sale, rent, etc.), which depend solely on the decision of the Reseller. (d) Cable Bahamas will remotely perform network checks and tests on the status of the retail customer’s cable modem. Cable Bahamas reserves the right to upgrade customer provided modem firmware in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. (e) In the event of a retail customer complaint regarding the cable modem, the Reseller will be solely responsible to ensure that the modem is in a working state using its own cable modem test station.
CABLE MODEMS. (a) The Customer is responsible for providing cable modems to retail customers. (b) Cable Bahamas will maintain a list of compatible cable modems, in Annex 2 of this Agreement. Cable Bahamas may change this list at any time giving at least six (6) months prior written notice to the Customer, when Cable Bahamas makes the decision to proceed with a change that results in a cable modem model no longer being compatible with Cable Bahamas’ network and systems. (c) It is expressly agreed between the Parties that the Customer can provide its retail customers with modems other than those purchased from Cable Bahamas. Also the Customer commits to prohibit the use by its retail customers of any other modems but those listed as compatible by Cable Bahamas in accordance with this Agreement. (d) The Customer can either: (i) purchase cable modems from Cable Bahamas at prices mentioned in Annex 2 of this Agreement. In that case Cable Bahamas will initially provision and configure the retail customer’s cable modem. (ii) purchase cable modems from the list of compatible cable modem models directly from vendors. In this case, the Customer will need to provide Cable Bahamas the MAC addresses in advance of installation so that services can be provisioned. (e) Subject to 5.2. (c), the Customer may provide cable modems to its retail customers under terms and conditions (sale, rent, etc.), which depend solely on the decision of the Customer. (f) Cable Bahamas will remotely perform network checks and tests on the status of the retail customer’s cable modem. Cable Bahamas reserves the right to upgrade customer provided modem firmware in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.   • Transmission encryption All data transmissions of County PHI or PI outside the secure internal network must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as AES. Encryption can be end to end at the network level, or the data files containing PHI can be encrypted. This requirement pertains to any type of PHI or PI in motion such as website access, file transfer, and E-Mail.

  • Local Circuit Switching Capability, including Tandem Switching Capability 4.1.3.1 Definition 4.1.3.2 Notwithstanding BellSouth’s general duty to unbundle local circuit switching, BellSouth shall not be required to unbundle local circuit switching for <<customer_name>> when <<customer_name>> serves end-users with four (4) or more voice-grade (DS-0) equivalents or lines in locations served by BellSouth’s local circuit switches, which are in the following MSAs: Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC; Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point, NC; Nashville, TN; and New Orleans, LA, and BellSouth has provided non-discriminatory cost based access to the Enhanced Extended Link (EEL) throughout Density Zone 1 as determined by NECA Tariff No. 4 as in effect on January 1, 1999. 4.1.3.3 In the event that <<customer_name>> orders local circuit switching for a single end user account name at a single physical end user location with four (4) or more 2-wire voice-grade loops from a BellSouth central office in an MSA listed above, BellSouth shall charge <<customer_name>> the market based rate in Exhibit C for use of the local circuit switching functionality for the affected facilities. 4.1.3.4 A featureless port is one that has a line port, switching facilities, and an interoffice port. A featured port is a port that includes all features then capable or a number of then capable features specifically requested by <<customer_name>>. Any features that are not currently then capable but are technically feasible through the switch can be requested through the NBR/BFR process. 4.1.3.5 BellSouth will provide to <<customer_name>> customized routing of calls: (i) to a requested directory assistance services platform; (ii) to an operator services platform pursuant to Section 10 of Attachment 2; (iii) for <<customer_name>>’s PIC’ed toll traffic in a two (2) PIC environment to an alternative OS/DA platform designated by <<customer_name>>. <<customer_name>> customers may use the same dialing arrangements as BellSouth customers. 4.1.3.6 Remote Switching Module functionality is included in Switching Capability. The switching capabilities used will be based on the line side features they support. 4.1.3.7 Switching Capability will also be capable of routing local, intraLATA, interLATA, and calls to international customer’s preferred carrier; call features (e.g. call forwarding) and Centrex capabilities. 4.1.3.8 Where required to do so in order to comply with an effective Commission order, BellSouth will provide to <<customer_name>> purchasing local BellSouth switching and reselling BellSouth local exchange service under Attachment 1, selective routing of calls to a requested directory assistance services platform or operator services platform. <<customer_name>> customers may use the same dialing arrangements as BellSouth customers, but obtain a <<customer_name>> branded service.

  • Number Resources, Rate Center Areas and Routing Points 8.1 Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to limit or otherwise adversely affect in any manner either Party’s right to employ or to request and be assigned any Central Office Codes (“NXX”) pursuant to the Central Office Code Assignment Guidelines and any relevant FCC or Commission orders, as may be amended from time to time, or to establish, by Tariff or otherwise, Rate Center Areas and Routing Points corresponding to such NXX codes. 8.2 It shall be the responsibility of each Party to program and update its own switches and network systems pursuant to information provided in the LERG in order to recognize and route traffic to the other Party’s assigned NXX codes. Except as expressly set forth in this Agreement, neither Party shall impose any fees or charges whatsoever on the other Party for such activities. 8.3 Unless otherwise required by Commission order, the Rate Center Areas will be the same for each Party. During the term of this Agreement, Onvoy shall adopt the Rate Center Area and Rate Center Points that the Commission has approved for Frontier within the LATA and Tandem serving area. Onvoy shall assign whole NPA-NXX codes to each Rate Center Area unless otherwise ordered by the FCC, the Commission or another governmental entity of appropriate jurisdiction, or the LEC industry adopts alternative methods of utilizing NXXs. 8.4 Onvoy will also designate a Routing Point for each assigned NXX code. Onvoy shall designate one location for each Rate Center Area in which the Onvoy has established NXX code(s) as the Routing Point for the NPA-NXXs associated with that Rate Center Area, and such Routing Point shall be within the same LATA as the Rate Center Area but not necessarily within the Rate Center Area itself. Unless specified otherwise, calls to subsequent NXXs of Onvoy will be routed in the same manner as calls to Xxxxx’s initial NXXs. 8.5 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, nothing in this Agreement is intended, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed, to in any way constrain Onvoy’s choices regarding the size of the local calling area(s) that Onvoy may establish for its Customers, which local calling areas may be larger than, smaller than, or identical to Frontier’s local calling areas.

  • Video Display Terminals ‌ The Employer shall ensure that any new office equipment or facility required for use in conjunction with VDTs shall meet the standards recommended by the Workers' Compensation Board.

  • CLEC OUTAGE For a problem limited to one CLEC (or a building with multiple CLECs), BellSouth has several options available for restoring service quickly. For those CLECs that have agreements with other CLECs, BellSouth can immediately start directing traffic to a provisional CLEC for completion. This alternative is dependent upon BellSouth having concurrence from the affected CLECs. Whether or not the affected CLECs have requested a traffic transfer to another CLEC will not impact BellSouth's resolve to re-establish traffic to the original destination as quickly as possible.
