Cadet photographers. (a) A cadet press photographer means an Employee who is constantly or regularly in training for newspaper work or who substantially does the work of one in training for newspaper work as a press photographer and who has not had 3 years’ experience in any such work. (b) Periods of such training on any newspaper shall be taken into account in calculating the period of experience specified in clause 8.2(a). (c) A cadet press photographer shall be fully and thoroughly taught and instructed by the Employer in photographic journalism in accordance with the following syllabus: (i) Cadets shall be instructed progressively throughout their cadetship in their work and a responsible person shall supervise such training. (ii) A person entering upon a cadetship shall be made familiar with the handling and publication of pictures. (iii) Cadets may be required to attend lectures by senior journalists and/or other authorities on the theory and practice of journalism to the extent that such lectures will give them an appreciation of news values including the use of photographs in newspaper production. (iv) Cadets shall be given wide practical experience and instruction in press photography and shall not be restricted to 1 class of work unless they are being trained in a special branch of press photography. (v) Cadets from time to time shall accompany senior photographers on assignments to receive practical instruction. (d) A cadet press photographer shall be permitted by the Employer to be absent during ordinary working hours for up to 10 hours a week for the cadet to attend classes or examinations which apply to any specialized branch of press photography approved by the Employer in subjects prescribed for the course of the Diploma in Journalism granted by an Australian university or other approved course.

  • Photographs You give your permission to us to use any photograph or photographic image including video or video stills taken of you while you are in any public spaces, grounds, offices at the Property or any sponsored events at the Property. You grant us and the Manager and our designees, the irrevocable and unrestricted right and permission to copyright, in its own name or otherwise, and to use, re-use, publish and re-publish photographic or video portraits or pictures of you or in which you may be included, without restriction as to changes or alterations. This usage may be in conjunction with your own name or a fictitious name. It may involve reproductions in color or otherwise that may be made through any medium, and in any and all media now or hereafter known. Usage may include illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, trade, or any other legal purpose. You also consent to the use of any printed matter in conjunction with that usage. You waive any right that you may have to inspect or approve the finished product, the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in that regard. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product and the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied. You agree that we, the Manager and our designees will have no liability due to any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form that may occur in taking or usage of any picture or in the subsequent processing or publication of the picture. You release us, the Manager, and our designees from all claims of any nature arising in any way from the use of your photograph or photographic image. This release contains the entire agreement on this subject matter.

  • Photography State may grant permits to persons or corporations engaged in the production of still and motion pictures and related activities for the use of the Premises for such purposes when such permission shall not interfere with the primary business of Concessionaire. Such permits shall not be deemed to be a competitive activity with regard to Concessionaire’s rights to possession and operation under this Contract.

  • Graphics Landlord shall provide and install, at Tenant's cost, all letters or numerals on the exterior of the Premises; all such letters and numerals shall be in the standard graphics for the Building and no others shall be used or permitted on the Premises without Landlord's prior written consent.

  • Photograph Waiver The Resident grants permission to the Institution and/or the Manager to use photographs or videotapes taken of the Resident in or about the Residence for use (i) in advertising, direct mail, brochures, newsletters and magazines relating to the Institution, the Manager or the Residence, (iii) in electronic versions of the same publications or on web sites or other electronic form or media relating to the Institution, the Manager or the Residence, and (iii) on display boards within the Residence or the Institution, all without notification. The Resident waives any right to inspect or approve any finished photograph or videotape or any electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with a photograph or videotape now or in the future and waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of any such photograph, videotape or electronic matter.

  • Video This restriction includes, but is not limited to, use of the Beat and/or New Song in television, commercials, film/movies, theatrical works, video games, and in any other form on the Internet which is not expressly permitted herein.

  • Media No media releases, public announcements or public disclosures relating to this Agreement or its subject matter, including but not limited to promotional or marketing material, shall be made by the Contractor without the prior written consent of the Client.
