Common use of CALL-IN ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

CALL-IN ALLOWANCE. The definition of “call-in” and “report to work” will include any necessary interactive communication to or from an employee on a work related emergency. Employee will be compensated at the straight time rate for all time required to respond to the emergency which gave rise to the call, up to a maximum of 30 minutes. The reason for the call along with any other documentation deemed necessary by the City will be submitted for each emergency call. This policy shall only apply to Water, Wastewater, Electric, and Equipment Maintenance Divisions.
